Why Tigerstar 2 was a bad leader by Flickerbreeze

Flickerbreeze shares their thoughts on the second Tigerstar’s actions as a leader.

Hey guys, Flickerbreeze is back! Today, I’ll be discussing a character I really dislike: Tigerstar 2. He was not a good leader from their very beginning and here’s why. MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE BROKEN CODE AND A STARLESS CLAN!

First of all, when SkyClan comes to the lake, he makes a fuss about everything they do and challenges them for territory. He goes as far as to making Leafstar leave! When SkyClan comes back, he still argues constantly with her, apparently not having learned from his past mistakes. He constantly fusses over Shadowsight with Dovewing (who I also heavily dislike). As a leader, you should treat all your Clan equally. Even if it’s obvious that Shadowpaw/sight being the only medicine that can communicate with StarClan is weird, Tigerstar and Dovewing insist that he’s “special”. And, by the way, do you see any of your Clanmates agreeing, Tigerstar?Yeah *cough, cough*, you see, that is prime example of indulgence. When Shadowpaw “kills” Bramblestar on the moor, his parents are like “It’s not your fault, but we should leave before we face the consequences. Another example of how Tigerstar doesn’t treat all clanmates equally is that he wants Shadowsight to hide his vision of the codebreakers just because Dovewing is named. he doesn’t care about Twigbranch, Lionblaze or the others, only about Dovewing. He’s super duper aggressive and almost kills the impostor many times even though the leaders agreed not to do so.
In a Starless Clan, he decides RiverClan can’t cope without a leader (which is correct), but invading their territory and just saying “You know what, since you are so incompetent, I’ll be your leader and you all have to listen to me”. That’s just wrong. He might say he doesn’t have plans of taking over RiverClan, but when was Tigerstar known for being the-least-ambitious-leader-ever. I don’t think that applies to him.

In conclusion, Tigerstar 2 is a terrible leader for not treating his clanmates equally. I haven’t talked about his past before he was leader, but believe me, it’s not clean ether. Anyways, I also dislike Dovewing for many reasons, but….That’s for a later article.
