GoldenfawnWelcome, welcome to the ninth annual BlogClan Holiday Gift Exchange! 😀
The BlogClan Gift Exchange is an event where every participant will give a gift to one person and in return, will receive a gift from another!
Each BlogClanner will use the form at the bottom of this page to sign up for the Gift Exchange. Applicants will be assigned a buddy (who you’ll be making a gift for). Another person will have you assigned as their buddy, and so on and so forth.
You will remain anonymous to your buddy until the exchange is over. You may reveal your identity after all the gifts have been given! 🙂
Gifts can be anything you think your buddy will enjoy! A compliment, a nice message, a poem, a short story, a drawing, anything you’d like! 😀 This is supposed to be a fun event, so don’t stress! Any gift is bound to be fabulous and appreciated by your buddy. 🙂
Signups are from today to November 10th, 2024. After that day, sign-ups will close! After everyone is signed up, you’ll be sorted into pairs. Once everyone is sorted, you will be contacted by our mods elves on the platform you prefer. The platforms we’ll be using are Discord, email, or a secret page. From then, you’ll have until December 22nd, 2024 to make and submit your gifts! There is no guarantee that your gift will be included in the post if it’s late! If you believe you’ll be late in submitting, please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you. 🙂 No one needs to be stressed on the holidays, elves included!
If you are signing up, please check your preferred form of communication often. We need confirmation that you have received your buddy and may need to contact you for other reasons regarding the exchange.

The best way to submit your gifts is through comments or via your preferred form of communication (Discord or email). If you’re submitting via comment, make sure to include at the top that it’s for the Gift Exchange so it is not accidentally modded. 🙂

First we put everyone in a spreadsheet in order of their forms then use a random name wheel generator to assign buddies! 🙂

Hey dodos–or, uh, elves!! :DD Just confirming that you guys saw the gifts I submitted! Oh, also I hope you guys don’t mind me asking, but since I volunteered as a backup gifter, will you contact me through one of my unmoderated comments that are already on the sps (like the one about the person I’m gifting or the gifts for my giftee) or contact me through some other secret page? and when do you think I should expect to get info on people I’m making gifts for as a backup? thank you thank you!! <3
We got the gifts you submitted! As for backup gifting, if you leave another comment on the secret page that is used for assigning buddies, we can edit that comment to let you know information about your giftees. 🙂 You can expect to be contacted sometime in late December, around the 22nd as that’s when we’ll learn who needs backup gifts.
Question: How do I send in my gift using a secret page? Do I send it in through the link on the info above? 🙂
You can send in your gift in the comments of this post! Just make sure to clarify it’s a gift so it’s not mistakenly moderated. 🙂
