Relating Greek mythology and Warrior Cats! by Fallowpaw

Fallowpaw gives warrior names to Greek gods and associates them with a character from Warrior Cats.

Hello! So, I really like Greek mythology, and I think some other people here like it too! That’s why I made an article about it! I will give each figure a warrior name, and relate them to a canon character!

WARNING: Greek mythology is very cool, but also contains more mature topics and not so amazing relationships. I won’t go deeper into those in this article, but if you want to read Greek mythology, remember that it contains those things.

Now let’s get on with it!

First up, Zeus!
He is practically God of… well, everything! So for his prefix, I was thinking of Earth! Now his suffix, I’d pick a classic, like Heart. Actually, Heart is pretty nice, Earthheart! Now a canon cat! I’d say Firestar! They’re both leader figures, and they both have a looooooot of love interests😛
Okay, so Zeus is Earthheart, and his canon cat is Firestar!

Next, Poseidon!
His power is water, so let’s take that for his prefix! Now, Poseidon isn’t really nice, he has a very violent nature, so maybe a threatening suffix. I think Claw is good, so his name is Waterclaw! For canon cat, maybe Lionblaze, because, honestly, he has a violent nature too.
So Poseidon’s name is Waterclaw, and his canon cat is Lionblaze!

Now time for Hades!
His power is the underworld… Well, it’s really dark there, and he also seems like a more introverted person (Idk if I can call Gods people actually), so maybe Night would be a nice prefix! So, he doesn’t really have contact with others (except Persephone) and is really aloof, so I’d pick Frost as a suffix! Haha, coincidence, I have an oc named Nightfrost! Now a canon cat! Maybe Tall Shadow/Shadowstar? He welcomes dead ppl in the underworld, and I headcanon that the first leaders in Warrior Cats also decide who goes to StarClan and who to the Dark Forest (tho they discuss it with the others too). And from personality, they’re the most similiar, so Shadowstar!
That means Hades is Nightfrost as a Warrior Cat and his canon cat is Tall Shadow/Shadowstar!

Next one up, Hera!
Her powers are women and marriage. All pretty hard to make a prefix of. But her symbol is a peacock, so Bird maybe! But that totally doesn’t fit her strong personality, and neither does Feather, so what about Lion? It’s a proud animal, just like a peacock, and symbolizes Hera perfectly! For her suffix, I was thiking of Snake. She is very jealous, cunning, clever and manipulative, so Snake is good! Lionsnake! For her canon character, I thought of Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight is jealous too when Bramblestar spends time with somebody else, they’re both ‘married’ to leaders, both quick-tempered and feisty…
So Hera is Lionsnake and her canon cat is Squirrelflight!

Now, Demeter!
Her power is kinda nature-ish, so her prefix will be Leaf! She is also a really sweet person, so Honey fits her, but Honey as a suffix is weird, so Imma go with Honeyleaf and reverse it! And I thought of Ferncloud for her Warrior cat! They’re both motherly figures, sweet but strict, and care about their children/kits a lot.
That’s it for Demeter, Honeyleaf and Ferncloud as canon cat!

And last but not least, Hestia!
Hestia is the Godess of the fireplace and the house, so for her prefix, I think Flame! It really sounds cozy! Her personality is kind, forgiving and comforting, so Light is a good suffix for her! Flamelight, pretty good! Now for the canon cat, Cinderpelt is a good choice in my opinion! They’re both very kind and want to make others feel good, and like how Hestia is completely devoted to her family by not marrying, Cinderpelt is just as devoted to her Clan and the medicine cat Code, so of course she doesn’t have a mate either.
So Hestia is Flamelight, and her canon cat is definitely Cinderpelt!

Yeah, that was it! I hope you enjoyed! And be sure to look out for part two! BYEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! FALLOWPAW OUTTTTT!!!!!!!!!
