Hi everyone!! My first article!! I hope u all like it!! 🙂
So, I’m basically listing my favorite leader, deputy, warrior, medicine-cat, etc. and I’m listing why I like them. If you disagree, then feel free to talk about it in the comments! 🙂
1. (Leader) Crookedstar! Ever since I read ‘Crookedstar’s Promise’ I loved him!! He survived more than his fair share of pain and sadness. He literally lost everything to Mapleshade, but still stayed strong and lead his Clan faithfully to the end of his days. HE IS NOT MENTIONED ENOUGH!! In the first series and only in HALF of the first series was he mentioned!! That was it!! He is underrated, which only makes me love him more!!
2. (Deputy) Whitestorm! Calm, cool, wise, strong, loyal. All those words describe Whitestorm. He lost his mother when he was young, his father was a tyrant, and his aunt (Bluestar), was mentally unstable her whole life. A great upbringing, am I right? Despite his family issues, he lived a good life and was well respected. WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE IN THE FIRST SERIES?!!!!!!! I miss him!! Why couldn’t he have stayed deputy forever!! :((((((( He was great with the newbie leader, Firestar, and followed him faithfully until his death.
3. (Medicine-cat) Jayfeather!!!!! I love him!! He is imperfect, but his inner strength makes up for his bodily disability. His brother and sister were too perfect while he wasn’t. He was left behind, forgotten, and seen as a burden to his Clanmates. BUT HE PUSHED THROUGH!!!! He made his way through the ranks of respect until he can be a grouch to any cat, despite their rank and Clan, and can get away with it!! He’s even more popular than Cinderpelt!! I just love him so much!!!
4. (Warrior) Sunbeam! Yeah, so my favorite warrior is Sunbeam. Listen, she’s smart, kind, helpful, and has a really good temper!! Like, if my mother was a villain and my mate walked out on my every other minute for StarClan purposes leaving me alone in a new Clan, I would be MAD! But she is always calm and keeps herself in chec really well. I

WHITESTORM!!! I wonder what would happen if he survived. Would we be looking at Graystar if he’d died after Graystripe had returned? Would Firestar have chosen Brambleclaw?

I agree with everything but Jayfeather. Just because he’s a good medicine cat who used to have StarClan-prophesied powers does not give him the right to be a temperamental grouch to every cat he meets, including the leader of his Clan. Alderheart was also a medicine cat and part of a prophecy, but do you see him snapping at every cat he meets? No. Briarlight also had a disability—probably worse than Jayfeather’s, because it made it harder for her to fight the illness that killed her—but she was still described as the most cheerful cat in the Clans.
Jayfeather has no respect for any cat. He was NOT left behind, forgotten, or seen as a burden. He just made it seem that way in his PoV, simply because he was too stubborn to accept the generous accommodations his Clanmates made for him because he was blind. When he was an apprentice, he was always whining about other cats helping him in battle or trying to helpfully guide him (even when they saved his life and he was too stubborn to admit it), and then was suddenly helpless and scared when the Dark Forest came to taunt him in his visions, and when he was attacked by Brokenstar.
There are a million other reasons I hate Jayfeather, including that he was a horrible mentor to Alderheart, he all but broke Alderheart’s self-esteem, he discouraged Alderheart from talking back, and he was so unsure about Alderheart’s loyalty he thought Alderheart would leave the Clans to go back to the Twolegplace with a kittypet, to list a few.

Though those are not necessarily my favorites, they are all good choices.
