What happened to Shadepelt, Loudbelly, Speckletail and Frostfur? by Butterflywing

Butterflywing wonders what happened to the elders who stayed behind.

In Dawn, Shadepelt, Loudbelly, Speckletail and Frostfur decides to stay behind in the forest, but what happened to them? I will share my theories (and others I’ve seen) in this article of what could have happened to them. You probably forgot them after Dawn and I feel like they aren’t talked about enough. I think that Frostfur only stayed behind to make sure Speckletail has company and look after the others, since she could have made the journey to their new home. Shadepelt and Loudbelly should have still been warriors but its confirmed that they became elders after they had been sick with that fish-poison, in Leopardstar’s honour. Anyway, The Erin’s confirmed that all of them died of starvation, but I’m interested in who died first and last?

Speckletail would probably have died first, since she was the oldest of them, I think she was roughly 11 years old, so she would die first (probably). She would also be weaker than the others due to her age. Anyway, let’s move on.

I think Loudbelly & Shadepelt would have died soon after Speckletail, due to sickness or age. I just feel like Frostfur would survive the longest. It feels right. Aaaand I watched I am the Winter Frostfur map on YouTube several times. Maybe Shadepelt would have died first, before Loudbelly, but idk! Moving on to my fav!

FROSTFUR!
I believe all of you had her on your favorite list when you first read TPB. I did at least hehe. I absolutely loved her and thought that she was so underrated (still do). I’m certain that Frostfur wouldn’t let a twoleg care for her, so she probably died of sickness or starvation, which is confirmed. I hope she could get reunited with her mate Lionheart and her sister, Brindleface in StarClan. And her parents of course! I hope she watches over her kits proudly from StarClan, with Shadepelt, Loudbelly and Speckletail :)) Mudfur too :))
