Hey guys, Judge Hickorywhisker here, and in this blog I will be looking closer at WC conflicts and seeing which cat is in the wrong! (BTW, this is my first time, if it’s a bit wobbly I’m sorry.)

#1: Mapleshade vs Frecklewish! Mapleshade was super angry at being cast out from her clan along with her kits. She crossed the river safely, but all of her kits drowned. Frecklewish was watching safely, hidden in the bushes. Later, Mapleshade lures Frecklewish near Snakerocks and an adder kills her. There are a couple BIG factors why I believe Mapleshade is in the wrong here. One; the river is flooded at the time of crossing. Mapleshade knew the dangers and still attempted to cross. Two; Frecklewish COULDN’T swim. She had no way to save the kits without drowning. Sorry to all the Mapleshade fans out there, (Myself included,) but I believe she is in the wrong here.

#2: Mudclaw vs Onewhisker! Tallstar chose Mudclaw as the next deputy of Windclan after Deadfoot is implied to have been killed in battle. Mudclaw is loyal but hostile towards strangers from other clans. This is a rule in the Warrior Code. When Tallstar is on his death(bed? moss? nest?), he switches the deputy from Mudclaw to Onewhisker. His reasoning was that Mudclaw would be a tyrannical leader. This makes absolutely no sense at all considering all Mudclaw did was be loyal and follow rules. On top of that, Onestar had a secret relationship that led him to closing his borders and acting insane during the rise of the Kin. In my opinion, Mudclaw as Mudstar would have been a much better option than Onestar.

#3: Hawkfrost vs Brambleclaw! Brothers and enemies in the end, Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw were never destined to be evil. They are defined by one thing alone: their opinions of Tigerstar I. Bramblepaw and Tawnypaw were told as new apprentices of their father’s tyranny by Fireheart. Sasha had a very different opinion of her mate, and only told her kits, Hawk and Moth, that their father was the greatest warrior in the forest once. This admiration festered in Hawkfrost, and the line blurred between right and wrong in his mind. When he finally met Tigerstar in the dark forest, his judgment of his father was only room for admiration, and he got carried away in his ambitions. When Hawkfrost attempted to murder Firestar with Brambleclaw, he was murdered by his brother instead. It was never about right or wrong, just the way these characters were influenced by role models.

Well, that concludes my first blog! Thanks for reading it!
