My Favorite Warrior Cats by Amberpaw

Amberpaw lists their favourite characters from Warrior Cats.

Hi I’m Amberpaw and this is my first article. So… I decided to do an easy one to start.

But you’re not here for that! Let’s talk about MY favorite warrior cats!

10. Graystripe – Firestar’s best friend and the reason why we have Stormfur
and Feathertail. And… by a stretch why a certain mountain lion is no longer terrorizing The Tribe of Rushing Water. I don’t get why anyone would hate and because I think he’s brave and kind. That’s just my opinion. Feel free to tell me yours in the comments. Although he wouldn’t notice he was stabbed in the back unless Silverstream descended from Starclan to point it out (lol I got that from a different article) I still love him.

9. Yellowfang – Some people think the Starclan version of her was annoying. And I do agree! But, I’m talking about the living version. She was such a good mentor to Cinderpelt! She might have been sharp tongued but that’s why I love her!! Brokenstar… well that’s another story.

8. Dovewing – I know y’all will hate me for this… But, I love Dovewing! She made some questionable decisions but she just wanted to follow her heart. I think she could have been good with Bumblestripe, but that’s not what Dovewing wanted! Some of you think she’s whiney and a pain, but she NEVER ASKED FOR HER POWERS!!! Starclan just gave them to her then took them away randomly!! Please don’t hate her. (Or me… 😅)

7. Sandstorm – Sandstorm is on this list simply because she’s SO AWESOME!!! Her romance with Firestar was sooo cute. And don’t even get me started about her elder life. Most cats when they’re elders are like, Ohhh yes Alderheat get that tick on my shoulder… She was like, SURE!! Alderheart I’ll invite myself on your quest to find a lost clan that me and Firestar restored AGES ago! Don’t even mention it!! I cried when she died. At least she’s happy with Firestar in Starclan.

6. Jayfeather – Do I even have to tell you why I love him? Here this will help

Birchfall: “You’re not very sympathetic for a medicine cat.”
Jaypaw: “I’m here to heal you. If you want sympathy, go to the nursery.”

Also did anyone notice that Yellowfang passed on her sharp tongue to Cinderpelt and then Leafpool didn’t get it, but Leafpool’s son got it? Or maybe Jayfeather’s prickliness comes from Crowfeather. They do have the same suffix…

5. Bramblestar – Some of you might be surprised (or angry 🫠) that he is 5th. Well I just love him! He was chosen by Starclan themselves to go to the Sun-Drown-Place for the prophecy, and I don’t think the mission could have been done without him. (Probably because the other cats would kill each other before they even reached Purdy). His relationship with Squirrelflight is a different story… But Bramblestar to me is a good cat and character.

4. Brackenfur – If there are a thousand Brackenfur fans, then I’m one of them, if there is one Brackenfur fan then, I’m it. If there are no Brackenfur fans then I’m dead. Some people say he’s boring and he IS! That’s why he’s so loveable! He is living (you know what I mean) proof that cats can have a happy life with a mate and kits without crazy prophecies, sadness, freak accidents, and slow painful deaths! 😁

I’m skipping to number one because I’m too lazy to do 3 and 2. So… my number one FAVORITE WARRIOR CAT is…

Tallpoppy!

You don’t even know who this is right? Yeah most people don’t… She’s the fierce Windclan she-cat who was brought back to the clans by Graystripe (Graypaw at the time) and Firestar (Firepaw at the time). She is soooo underrated and deserves more lovers!
