ThunderClan warriors as Clan leaders (part 2) by Jackdawpaw

Jackdawpaw takes a look at more ThunderClan warriors and how they would fare as leader.

Hello, Jackdawpaw here! I had a lot of fun last time I wrote an article like this (which may or may not be around 10 minutes ago), so here we go again! (Don’t worry tho, I won’t submit them the same day). So, again, I spun the wheel to get some more ThunderClan warriors!

1. FOXLEAP –> FOXSTAR
You know, he definitely has the spirit! And I really want to say he’s make an mazing leader, cause I LOVE FOXLEAP!!!!!!!!! (Accorfing to the Warrior Cats Favorite Picker, he’s fourth place :P) Anyways, I don’t know if he’s strong… or serious… enough for a Clan leader. He’s not the amazing “I’m big and strong and brave and perfect, I’m basically Brambleclaw” kind of guy, and I sadly don’t think leadership would suit him totally, but I would absolutey love to read about it!

2. HOLLYTUFT –> HOLLYSTAR
Now, here’s a character I don’t know anything about! So, she’s the daughter of Cinderheart and Lionblaze, which means good advantage from the beginning, but all the same, her brother and sister became kittypets, meaning she doesn’t necessarily need to share her parents’ spirit. Since she’s such a minor character who doesn’t really have such a big role (in my terrible memory, at least), she probably wouldn’t be a perfect leader, but like, I don’t know.

3. CHERRYFALL –> CHERRYSTAR
People, help me, I’m getting a strange déjà vu here. Hasn’t there been a Cherrystar in the series already, or is that just some chacter in some old fanfiction of mine? Whatever, I think Cherryfall, just as Foxleap, has the right spirit, but apart from that, I don’t think she has what it takes to lead a Clan, so sorry, but no. I’ll give Foxleap the advantage here and say he’d be a better Clan leader cause I love him so much 😀 No offense, though, Cherryfall. I think she’d do okay.

4. POPPYFROST –> POPPYSTAR
She isn’t that bad, but I feel like she’s just a bit insecure, based on the whole Berrynose-doesn’t-love-me-he-just-misses-Honeyfern incident. She doubts herself and her surroundings too much, and that really wouldn’t be a good thing for a Clan leader, so, sorry but no.

5. STORMCLOUD –> STORMSTAR
Uh, I don’t know. Does he even believe in StarClan? *Googling* Uh… I think he did. Anyways, he’s just a calm, nice, loyal cat, I think, and I think he’d be an okay warrior. I could say something about his background, but that wouldn’t be fair since Firestar was also a kittypet once. So, I’d say Stormcloud’s fine, and as a leader he would also be fine, but he doesn’t have the spirit. Stormcloud combined with Foxleap, tho!

6. SORRELTAIL –> SORRELSTAR
Hrm, I have an OC named Sorrelstar… Whatever, I think Sorreltail is a good warrior and she doesn’t really have any faults; she’s confident, unlike Poppyfrost, but still a strong and capable warrior, so I think Sorrelstar would work. But it kind of feels like she would reject the leader role by herself, like, “Nah, I just want to be a regular warrior”, and that’s a problem, of course.

7. PLUMSTONE –> PLUMSTAR
Does Plumstone even have a personality? Like, I’m being completely honest? Does she ever say anything in the whole series? Can anyone who reads this mention one single Plumstone line without googling or looking in a book? Cause then I’m all ears. Aka, no, not leader type.

8. BERRYNOSE –> BERRYSTAR
Oh, StarClan, NO!!! This would not be a good idea. Not at all. He’s not even that bad, he’s just annying and if he became Clan leader, he would act like he owned the whole world. Bro’s ego is bigger than the Never Gonna Give You Up song!

9. EAGLEWING –> EAGLESTAR
Ugh, really? This is basically Plumstone with a more epic name. She just feels a bit more remarkable cause I don’t know, Stemkit, Plumkit, and Shellkit all feel like very similar names, while Eaglekit sticks out a bit, if you know what I mean, so I believe she’d be better tha her sister, still 😀 (I know, I’m very logic).

10. AMBERMOON –> AMBERSTAR
Who’s her mom, again? Brightheart? If I remember it right (which I probably don’t), she’s quite similar to her mother, and she’s friendly and nice, but I don’t think she has that typical leader spirit and strength. She feels pretty regular, so I don’t think she’d be such a good leader.

11. WHITESTORM –> WHITESTAR
Yeah, here we go! Whitestorm was literally deputy when he died, so I definitely think he’d be a good leader! When Bluestar was about to choose a deputy after Lionheart, I swore I was just like “Whitestorm, Whitestorm, Whitestorm”, and then she was like “Tigerclaw” and I was like “No!!!” He’s brave, strong, wise – everything you need in a leader, and if you ask me, much better than Brambleclaw.

12. SANDSTORM –> SANDSTAR
Absolutely! I think Sandstorm would make a great leader, though not as good as Brackenfur and Firestar. She has the spirit, she has the loyalty, she has the confince, the strength, the bravery… She was a little doubtful about Firestar’s love for her in Firestar’s quest, sure, but who hasn’t had a doubt some time? Sandstar would be good, though not perfect. She feels quite similar to Bluestar, in a way; she has a rather sharp tongue and isn’t as desperate for peace as Firestar.

So, I think that’s it for this article! Oh, and by the way, I think I tend to say that the older characters (such as Sandstorm, Thornclaw, Cloudtail, etc) would make better leaders than younger ones (Plumstone and Cherryfall, for an example), since the characters from TPB (and TNP, in some cases) have a lot more character depth, since they were individuals in a completely different way back then, I’d say. Now it’s more of a mass production of characters to keep the Clan running, so there are just names here and there to fill out, meaning they don’t get much of a character in most cases.
