Io Saturnalia!

What is Saturnalia, you may ask? It was a Roman holiday dedicated to the god, Saturn, which began on 17 December! The whole point of Saturnalia was to upend conventional social norms – rich men served servants, for example. And it was generally a time of great fun 🙂

No, people don’t tend to celebrate this anymore, but I have to put my degree to good use somehow! So, Io Saturnalia!

In keeping with the festive theme, we also have a lovely photo from Melodypaw of a very festive looking Bella! She looks so happy 😀 I hope she’s enjoying the festivities
