Are Leafpool and Squirrelflight Reincarnations? by Whispercloud

Whispercloud wonders if the sisters of The New Prophecy hide another secret.

Hi there! I’m Whispercloud and this is my First Blogclan Article.

So, I was reading some Articles and Someone had made one on the fact that Leafpool and Squirrelflight could potentially be reincarnations of Yellowfang’s two She-kits. I read it through and I completely agreed! I mean, Squirrelflight’s HOPE and Leafpool’s WISH, HOPEkit and WISHkit, How could it not be true? This is my personal theory on it, so, when Cinderpelt found out that Sandstorm was expecting kits, she went to the Moonstone (At Half-Moon as Usual) and Spoke with Yellowfang. Yellowfang told Cinderpelt that she would mentor a cat who was never meant to be born, as she had decided to Reincarnate her two daughters who died at birth. Cinderpelt was confused by this and went back to camp. A moon or so later, when Leafkit and Squirrelkit were born, Yellowfang sent the spirits of her kits into the bodies of the newborns, giving them another chance in life. Squirrelkit as Hopekit and Leafkit as Wishkit.However, Squilf and Leafpool’s Souls had already been formed so they each had two spirits.

More reasons why this theory could be true
1. You only see Wishkit or Hopekit in Starclan once, In Yellowfang’s Secret, One of them gives Brokenstar one of his nine Lives. After that, they are never seen in Starclan Again.
2. Hopekit looks Suspiciously like Leafpool and Wishkit looks like Squirrelflight. I know I said that Hopekit was Squilf and Wishkit was Leafpool, but still, it’s a reason.
3. Yellowfang had a power that forced her to be a Medicine cat. Who else had some form of Gift? Squirrelflight and Leafpool! They could (At least for some of the books) Telepathically communicate!
4. Leafpool and Yellowfang are both cats who were destined to, or forced to, become medicine cats. Could it be that Leafpool’s Destiny was actually to follow in her “Mother’s” Footsteps?

So, yeah, that’s why I think Squilf and Leafpool COULD be Reincarnations of Wishkit and Hopekit. I hope you Enjoyed my Article and I shall make another one soon. Sorry it’s Short but I ran out of Ideas.
