Finchlight’s Heart: Hollowspring or Bayshine? by Briardawn

The first cat is Bayshine. A lot of people shipped him with finchlight, but soon we found out that in the new upcoming book, Changing Skies: The Elder’s Quest, the main character, Moonpaw (btw I love her oc- you can see it at warrior cats website) is the daughter to Bayshine and Thriftear. Many people disagreed about this, but I kinda ship them bc of their same personality- ANYWAYS this would make sense if Thriftear and Bayshine were mates and Finchlight confessed, only to be rejected.

Now, I know a lot of people think it was Bayshine, but there is one other possiblity that I actually love and agree with as well; Hollowspring. Say Finchlight and Hollowspring loved each other and met up in secret, but then Hollowspring knew his mother, Berryheart (who is a horrible parent), would never allow it and maybe even hate him- based off the reaction Berryheart gave with her other two kits, Sunbeam and Spireclaw. So, in the end, Hollowspring broke it off, even though he still loved Finchlight. (Just an Idea, but I can clearly see that happening.)

There have been other possibilities like Stormcloud, Mousewhisker, Bumblestripe, Molewhisker, etc. I don’t really think it’s any of them because STORM X SPARK (im sorry i had to), Mousewhisker is way too old (unless the Erins were trying to pull off another Blossomfall x Thornclaw), Bumblestripe wouldn’t break another cat’s heart because he knows how it feels because of dovewing, (I also kinda ship him with Cherryfall), and Molewhisker is too old, there was litterally NO INTERACTION with him and finchlight, and they don’t fit ANY of the ship dynamics ( unless you count least exepected )
Anywho, that’s all for now but I really hope Erin Hunter answers this love mystery in Warrior Cats: A Starless Clan #6: Star! 😀
