Why Blossomfall x Ivypool is a great ship by Mistpaw

Mistpaw shares why they think Blossomfall and Ivypool are good for each other.

Hey again, it’s Misty, back with her 7th article (that’s actually crazy. 7 articles?), and today I will shine the light on Blossomfall and Ivypool, and tell you why they are a great ship! So, lets get into it!

The main reason I think this is a good ship is because Blossom and Ivy have a lot in common, and therefore can relate, and understand each other. For starters, both she-cats know what it’s like to feel rejected. As an apprentice, Ivypaw felt jealous of her sister, Dovepaw, and felt neglected by her clanmates, because Dovepaw got all the attention. This is similar to Blossomfall. When she (Blossomfall) was an apprentice, she was jealous of her sister, Briarlight, because Briarlight got more attention from their mother, Millie. This caused Blossomfall to feel neglected by her mother. Because of this jealous, neglected feeling, both she-cats trained in the Dark Forest, to try to become “better warriors” so they would get more attention. Them both having this neglected feeling, and their both training in the Dark Forest I think could really bring them together. They can understand each other, and because of this, can better comfort each other, and could really bond with each other.
Also, Blossom x Ivy seems like a better ship than their cannon ones.
I don’t like Blossom x Thorn because the age gap is just too big for me. I checked, and it turns out that it’s 6 YEARS, which is a long time. Most warriors typically retire after 8 yrs. So they have 3/4 a whole warrior’s lifespan as their age gap. That’s just too much. Thornclaw was a warrior WAYYY before she was even born. So yeah. I just don’t like Blossom x Thorn. I don’t like Ivy x Fern because they are third cousins and because I just don’t see the chemistry. Here’s how they are related: Ivypool’s mother is Whitewing, whose father is Cloudtail, whose uncle is Firestar, whose daughter is Leafpool, whose son is Lionblaze, whose son is Fernsong. So they are third cousins. Also, they just dont seem very romantic. The only memory I have of them is them arguing about having kits. So yeah. Blossomfall x Ivypool is by far the better ship, and it makes sense.
