Why I love Cinderpelt by Mistpaw

Mistpaw shares why they love Cinderpelt.

Hi yall! It’s Mizzie again, with her 9th (I think 9th) article! Today I will be talking about Cinderpelt. I feel like a lot of people overlook her as a character, but she really is an amazing character, and my 3rd favourite, and hopefully this article will bring some more love to Cinderpelt.
Lets get started!
I just love this feisty, smart, loyal, kind, amazing she-cat. Before her leg injury, all Cinderpelt (or Cinderpaw at the time) dreamed of becoming a strong warrior who would serve her clan greatly. She wanted kits, and everything else about being a warrior that medicine cats didn’t get. Buuuut (cuz there always has to be a but), good ‘ol Tigerstar (Tigerclaw then) sets a trap, and Cinderpaw severely injures her leg. She then realizes that she will now never be a warrior, and all of her hopes and dreams are crushed. Everything that she had wanted from when she was a kit was ripped away from her. But she didn’t give up. Instead, she focused on being the best medicine cat for her clan. This shows her strong loyalty to her clan, firstly through her dream of becoming a good warrior, and after losing that dream, still becoming a loyal medicine-cat. Cinderpelt is also a very kind and compassionate cat. Firstly, when Littlecloud and Whitethroat come to the ThunderClan camp because they are sick, the clan turns them back, as they are ShadowClan warriors, and the clan doesn’t trust them. However, Cinderpaw illegally lets them stay, so she can heal them. She also shows her compassion with Leafpool. When Leafpool runs away with Crowfeather, she is neither mad, nor disappointed, or really any negative emotion you might expect Cinderpelt to feel to Leafpool. She just tells Leafpool that she will be a great medicine cat. We’ll see if that’s true though. . . but, this is a Cinderpelt article, not a Leafpool one, so lets get back on track. She is also wise, and helped Firestar a lot through his first few moons of leading, as she was always supportive, of him, and everybody else. So yeah. She’s a loyal, kind, dedicated, smart she-cat who definitely deserves more attention. Hopefully this article will bring her some. Mizzie out!
