Why Juniperclaw deserves better by Mistpaw

Hey, it’s Mizzie (bored of me yet?), with her 10th article (wow i’ve officially reached the double digits), and today I will tell you about Warriors characters who deserved better, and why. Let’s get into it!
First up: Juniperclaw
I think everyone has done an article on him, but I still felt in necessary to include him in this article. Juniperclaw was the deputy of ShadowClan, and (for all we know) was a loyal, faithful, good deputy till the battle with SkyClan. During the battle, he tries to poison SkyClan by putting deathberries in their prey. While this is a pretty bad thing to do, lets not forget why he did it. He was extremely loyal to his clan, and would’ve done anything for ShadowClan (even poison another clan’s fresh kill), and he thought it was the right thing to do. He thought that getting rid of SkyClan would not only help ShadowClan, but the other clans, and prevent conflict. So while he might’ve made a bad decision, and shown poor judgement of cats’ lives over his clan, he still had decent reasons for doing so. Lets also not forget that no cat actually died because of what Juniperclaw did. Sparrowpelt got sick, but didn’t die. So he’s not a murderer. But, the main reasons for why he deserves better is what he did after poisoning the prey. When the clans realize what he did, the exile him. During his time in exile, he tries to redeem himself, as he really feels sorry for his actions (unlike some Star clan cats we know *looking at you, Ashfur*), so when he learns that his former leader’s son, Shadowkit, is drowing, he saves not only Shadowkit, but also they SkyClan cats he encountered, of which included Violetshine, a pregnant queen. So he saved Shadowkit and Violetshine’s lives, as well as the lives of Violetshine’s unborn kits. And lets not forget that Violetshine was the only cat suspicious of Juniperclaw, and the reason that he got exiled. But he still saved her and Shadowkit. He could’ve let them die, but he didn’t. But somehow, despite the fact that Juniperclaw went to such great lengths to redeem himself, he still ends up in the Dark Forest! Uhhh, what’s up with that?!! Our good friend Ashyboi, who threatened to murder three apprentices
