  • It’s not one of the most well-known relationships in Warriors, but Sandstorm and Honeyfern have a very sweet mentor/apprentice relationship!

    Sandstorm is always patient with Honeyfern, and Honeyfern is well-behaved and a good listener.

  • Here’s a list of things that show how caring, fair, and kind Honeyfern is:

    • As a kit, she was concerned about Lionkit, Jaykit, and Hollykit, because Squirrelflight couldn’t feed them. (Sorreltail mentioned this at Honeyfern’s vigil)
    • She comforted Lionpaw when he missed a mouse, and then helped him find one.
    • She once brought fresh-kill to Lionpaw while he was in his nest.
    • She showed admiration for Icepaw’s first catch.
    • She is accepting of the Tribe’s ways. This is shown when Poppypaw says their names are weird, to which Honeypaw replies that they’re just different and that she shouldn’t be so rude.
    • Her and Poppyfrost both cheered for Cinderpaw during their Warrior ceremony, encouraging her that she would have her turn soon, too.
    • She was the only one who accepted Berrynose despite his arrogance.
    • When the sick cats, including Honeyfern, left for the twoleg nest, she offered to take care of Rosekit.
    • She is one of the cats taking care of Firestar as he loses a life.
    • She comforts Briarkit when Millie can’t feed her, and offers her a mouse.
    • She is one of the cats who were reluctant to blame WindClan for Ashfur’s death without evidence.
    • She offered to bring Mousefur a mouse.
    • She selflessly sacrificed her life to save Briarkit from the snake.
    • She saved Jayfeather and Poppyfrost from Breezepelt.
    • She wasn’t jealous that Poppyfrost and Berrynose were together, and was instead happy for them.
    • She loves Cherrykit and Molekit as if they were her own.
