For those of you in high school or middle school, what classes are you taking next year?
I’m going into 9th grade and I signed up for:
– Honors ELA
– Biology
and Geometry for my required classes
My electives are:
– Zero period marching band* (PE Credit)
– (School’s Name) Band
– Spanish 1
And I signed up for the business class, but my second choice was a free period, which just means I can leave school early :DD
*Zero period just means I have to get to school earlier, and allows me to have an extra class. Marching Band is a required zero period.
Going into 10th grade next year! I’m currently signed up for:
– ELA
– Trigonometry
– Pre-Calc
– An engineering class! I’m really excited for this one :DD
– Chemistry
– AP Psychology (though I might swap this one out for Spanish I)
– My school’s large SATB choir
– My school’s highest-level choir
For the choirs, I auditioned and made both of them, so I’m going to be in two choirs 😛
I’m going into 7th grade! The required classes are (iirc):
-Math
-English
-History
-Science
-P.E.
And my electives are band and art!
Going into 7th grade, buuuuuut I’m moving and I have no clue how classes work there, so imma just say what I would have if I weren’t moving:

Some of the AP classes take two years to cover the material, hence why I’m able to take so many. (And yes, the only non-advanced course I’m taking is English 😛)

For all those band/orchestra kids, what’s a song you’ve played that is absolute FIRE?
For me, it’s either Darklands March, Blue Sky Horizon, or Pirates of the Carribean
You band kids are so lucky 😭 My school’s band got to play Thriller and Bohemian Rhapsody and then there’s my choir, singing We’re All In This Together and the awful movie version of Seize the Day 🫠
I think maybe the Beatles, or Hamilton! Both of them were saxophone heavy so they were pretty fun to play
Not in band or orchestra, but I play piano! My favorite song I’ve played (and sung in this case!) is Something by the Beatles. It has a really fun bass line and chord progression :DD
If you could make an absolutely new and different purr and name from the one you currently have, what would it be?
