      • I think if Sqiuf was with Ashfur, they’d be happy and StarClan would be here ladidadida, but Squif is best with Shrewpaw, the only cat who didn’t abuse her. Also, Stormfur just had a crush, so not him.

    • Hi! I’m not sure where to type this but I’m here to share my opinion on Squirrelflight’s relationships and who I think she should be with!

      Ash x Squirrel
      Defiantly no. It would be impossible for Squirrelflight to be with him, but anyways Ashfur is a terribly unstable mate. He wanted to kill her kits- so she would be with him?? And then he nearly destroyed the Clans just because she wouldn’t be with him. But even before all that he was a little creepy, always beside Squirrelflight and pestering her to come hunting with him and so on.

      Actually…in my opinion, this relationship isn’t much better. In Squirrelflight’s Hope, Bramblestar is a terribly abusive mate to her.

    • 3.) Making Squirrelflight feel guilty and take the blame for his behavior.

      Of course Bramblestar loved her, and if he wanted kits less than she did, at least he’d been honest with her. She knew she’d overreacted. Why should he want exactly the same things that she did? -Squirrelflight’s Hope

      There are lots more quotes proving this but I don’t want to add too much.

      But really, while I do like them sometimes outside of Squirrelflight’s Hope; they weren’t the healthiest then either. Brambleclaw knew how much Squirrelflight loved Leafpool, and their bond together; yet he still broke up with Squirrelflight after the secret of Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf got out without even listening to her. He knew the sister’s bond, and instead of listening and supporting her during this difficult time, he just left her stranded before eventually becoming mates with her again.
      And when Brambleclaw bonded with Hawkfrost, he didn’t listen to Squirrelflight; he just snapped at her, and same with Squirrelflight; she didn’t listen to him either. (4)

    • However, I like the moment when Brambleclaw was trembling, afraid he’d loose his mate. And they were super cute in A Light in the Mist!

      Shrew x Squirrel
      My all-time favorite Squirrelflight ship is Squirrel x Shrew! When Squirrelflight returns from the journey to the sun-drown-place, everyone is made at her for leaving them; except Shrewpaw, who supports her and offers her a place in her nest. When Squirrelflight wakes up from a dream, Shrewpaw soothes her and gives her sensible advice. (5)

      Shrewpaw was the only cat who never abused her or attacked her verbally. Their relationship is really cute, too.

      Ehh. It’s not bad but it was a crush and never anything serious. Stormfur never loved her enough to leave his Clan for her. He loved Brook more, too.

      I think Squirrelflight deserves to be happy so she should be with someone; someone who didn’t hurt or abuse her the way Bramblestar or Ashfur did.

    • OK, i ship Bramble/Squirrel for many reasons.

      1. They keep each other in line.
      So, Squirrelflight is wayyyy too fast to speak out and say what she thinks. Bramblestar keeps her in line for that! And, Squirrelflight keeps Bramblestar in line when he…how do I put this…becomes too Tigerstary.

      I think Squirrelflight should be with Shrewpaw. He’s a really kind cat, and her was always there for Squirrelflight. He said nice things to her, and never wronged her like every other mate she’s had. But, I do also ship Squirrelflight and Bramblestar. Remember in some part of Midnight or Moonrise where Squirrelflight defended Brambleclaw when the others were being mean? Squirrelflight said she was defending her clan, but I think she had grown on Brambleclaw. Brambleclaw also admitted in Midnight that he had grown to like Squirrelflight. That’s it for me! ت
