Hello everyone! Just a couple little things I wanted to update everyone on!
1. We will be throwing a small Gathering here on the 28th! That will be the Apprentice Army’s One Year Anniversary! How in the world have we existed for that long? I was scrolling through all of the old pages the other day, and it made me rather nostalgic. In honor of that, I’ll be posting an NTA closer to that date using some names from the original members! We are open to any ideas for games you’d like to play, or things like that!
2. The challenge of the week is: Give someone a compliment! Whether it is in real life, on the Blog, or somewhere else, everyone likes to hear them!

Okay, we have ourselves an Intoxicated Cheetah spine dumpling, (no flex tape included) some very noice comments towards cheetospork, and some Cheeto fan-art drizzled on top.
I’ve added some fang spices and big neck pieces to the Viper bowl, and i’ve whipped up three plates of Intoxicated Cheetah Spine Dumplings, (Three per plate) served to you, Whirly, and one for Bouncepaw.
Well done! Now we shall have the tasting session, never mind the fancy chopsticks! (Even though I’m Asian I can’t use them OuO)

I’m just here for a “quick” announcement.
I’m not sure if anyone has ever discussed on here about the Apprentice Army Trailing Stars since the App discord server is more active than the BlogClan pages (which I apologize about) so I will give a quick explanation: The Apprentice Army started a Trailing Stars of their own back when Emby was leader and named it “Rising Paws.” Lil started off with the first chapter and Emby was in the process of writing the second chapter when she went inactive and the whole thing kind of just dropped! That subject was left alone for a while until I decided to start it up again. It was discussed with the overlords and commanders and we think that the best course of action is to do a complete restart.

We will be making a list of everyone who can write/edit chapters, so If you want to participate in the writing of the story then let us know in the signup form; there will be a yes/no option in there concerning that! And please only say you’ll be able to write/edit a chapter if you’re sure that you will be able to finish it in a mannerly time! BUT if you would still like to write/edit but your not totally sure that you will be able to in good time then you can still say in the form that you can write/edit, but make sure to put something like “not 100% positive I’ll be able to” and we’ll put you on the list but you’ll be somewhere near the bottom. And if it’s your turn to write but you are unable to then you can let one of the overlords know and we can skip you for the time being and come back if/when you can. I’ll probably give a number of days or something like that later on for the people who are writing!
And (last thing) we will be writing this a little differently from the BlogClan Trailing Stars and starting it out differently. So if you have any suggestions then I would love to hear them and just put them in the secret page that will be used for Rising Paws!!

HI GUYS
IT’S THE ANNIVERSARYYYYY!!! (I’m commenting on the 27th in hopes it’ll be posted on the 28th)
Because of what an amazing day it is, it’s time for me to do a big cheesy post in honor of it. I am one of the original 10ish members, and rather proud of it, haha. Out of all the things on the Blog I’ve had a hand in, this is probably my biggest accomplishment.
When I joined I was a Commander. I observed from a distance during the elections and didn’t vote during either one. My first rank-up occurred thanks to Emby who promoted me to the role of Medicine Cat. I am very thankful that she thought of me to do that originally, and I’ve grown a lot from it.
The Army has been a huge part of my life. I’ve kind of become the resident party planner and stuck around long after I should’ve been kicked out. I’ve been a part of everything from the original takeover, to the first election, to the second election, to every event we’ve had, to now. I currently proudly hold the position of Ultimate Accomplice, and I am very grateful Stormi has gifted me with that role.
Anyway, now that I’ve given all the background so you understand why I care — it’s time to go into how I care. The Army is how I’ve made friends, it’s brought me into a community I never knew could’ve existed. It’s been around for a year, and I’ve stuck with it every step of the way. I am so grateful for all the opportunities the Army has gifted me (and for each and every one of you).

Half Announcement and Half Answer to Rabbitpaw:
We have decided to create an actual system for moving up ranks instead of just asking to move up! We will start giving out points. You can get points for commenting here, advertising on the Blog or Discord (just let us know here), participating in contests, NTAs, answering questions, showing up to events, etc. We will keep track of these points in a spread sheet and whenever you reach a certain number, you will rank up.
List of Points Needed For Each Rank:
Leader – You must have at least 5 points to run in the election.
Ultimate Accomplice – I’m not entirely sure because I believe this role is specific to me.
2nd in Command – 5 points (election runner up)
3rd in Command – 1 point (chosen by leader)
Medicine Cat – 3 points (nominated)
Med Assistant – 1 point (chosen by Medicine Cat)
Mediator – 3 Points (nominated)
Commander – 10 Points
Spy – 2 Points
High Ranking – 7 Points
Soldier – 2 Points
Regular App – 0 Points
I currently have no access to my computer, and therefore no access to Discord so I cannot keep track of points on there. I will start rallying up points on the Blog, though.
Everyone begins at 0 points (but stays at their current position) and as you gain points, you rank up. When that happens, I’ll let you know! To run in the next elections, or get nominated, start gaining your points needed now! If you ever want me to tell you how many you are at, just ask!
