just curious what are your guys’ hair types?
mine is that i am not exactly sure…
there’s definitely waves but basically for 16 years of my 17 year old life i’ve been brushing out my hair and i always struggled with my hair i would always be like “WHY HAS MY HAIR FORSAKEN ME” and be impossible to brush out and i would sometimes cry lol but then when i got a haircut some months ago i realized wait a minute…i don’t have straight hair when the hair stylist put gel in my hair
so recently i’ve been trying to care better for my not straight hair and get products for wavy/curly hair
right now i guess my hair type to be around 2b to 2c waves or it could be possible i have both types or something in between even lmao i also on some occasion see some curl form in my front hair and so i am not sure what’s up with that and it could be possible i have some 3a curls kind of in there though not 100% certain on that and my hair is medium length but that could still be enough to weigh down waves and curls
i am still trying to figure out my hair routine and what works and what won’t and my hair is still probably recovering from hair damage from all those years of brushing since i only just started this recently because my hair is still frizzy
my hair is also thick too so basically i inherited my mom’s thick asian hair while i inherited my dad’s waves/curls (his hair is cut super short, but apparently it does curl when it got long and my dad’s relatives it’s apparent they have curly hair) so it’s kind of hard to exactly find: “wavy/curly mixed white and asian hair routine” lol
i also plan on getting a shag cut soon and shag cuts have layers and layers apparently help out waves and curls be shown more so that could help define whatever i have haha

I put my cousin’s curler shampoo in my hair, but my hair was wavy for a day and then it was straight again.
i was talking with someone about hair once and i have medium/thin strands but like a lot of em, so it brushes almost like thick hair and styles sort of like thin hair, its very interesting to think about different hair types

Mine is long and wavy but i think if I cut it short it would be curly (it’s very long and I think it pulls the hair into waves)

My hair is supposed to be curly, but it’s more like just frizzy, and I put so much stuff in it to try and smooth the frizz and it does NOTHING, and it’s so thick that I’ve broken three hairbrushes trying to brush it when it was tangled.

I have pretty thick hair and it’s really wavy except like the top layer of hair is normally pretty straight and the hair underneath is super wavy and sticks out so I have to straighten it.
My hair is just random waves and curves, and I don’t know how to describe it. 😛

My hair is very fine! If I don’t take care of it I get knots in two seconds 😛 With the haircut I have, it’s 1c, but naturally it’s 1b – and sometimes 2a, oddly enough? Doesn’t stay like that that long though – my hair is usually pretty straight. 😛
