omg omg Renegades by Marissa Meyer!!! it’s my absolute favorite book series ever and I need more people to read it, the attention to detail and plot points and character development is literally everything
it’s about a bunch of superpower people divided between two sides who are generally accepted as the heroes and the villains, and the main character’s an infamous supervillain who goes undercover with the heroes to overthrow them!! the characters are so so well-crafted and it’s so cool because while the characters think “oh you’re either a good Renegade or an evil Anarchist” but the main character’s pov shows that there’s good and bad people on both sides and it’s just <333333 and there's little details in like the first book that are just kinda there at first but they end up being super duper relevant later and again the attention!! to detail!! is imPECCABLE AND PLEASE READ IT LOL
