Snowy, for songwriting tips, if you want to convey a message it’s kind of like writing a paragraph. The chorus is the main point and the verses are the evidence. Make your tempo and beat first and get the rhythm of the words before putting a melody to them. To find your rhythm, just read the song out loud and put down the natural rhythm and then edit it.
