i’m petsitting 2 parakeets (their names are kiwi and mango and they’re really cute!!) for a family friend but unfortunately these demon birds are very loud and screechy

I’m trying to enjoy the last month of summer vacation and do something memorable (it’s hard when it’s always raining – right now it’s 16 C!), but I’m mostly staying inside drawing 😛
It’s 11:24 and I haven’t even had breakfast yet. 😛 I need coffee, honestly. I’m far too tired.
I don’t get summer break. 😛 But I’m going on vacation the week after next, so hopefully that will break up the endless summer “blahs” I always have. 😛

It is compared to the US, but it still takes a fair few hours to travel across, especially considering how congested the roads are. 😛
Oh, the roads are so terrible. 😛 Especially in tourist season. London is an absolute nightmare if you want to get anywhere on time. 😛
I agree that the roads are packed and blah, but you can get places pretty quickly by public transport and you literally cannot get lost in London 😛 Though the train I was on earlier was packed and humid and horrid 😛
I do love the transport systems. 😀 I was in a taxi for 2 hours with no air conditioning, sandwiched between my parents in 28 degree weather, and the ride should have only taken 45 minutes. 😛
England is about the size of the best state in America!!! Texas. 🤠 Yeehaw partner.
