But they’re also really great pets and I really want to have a pet parakeet (I used to have a few and they were amazing- the ones I described in my comment are parakeets I’m petsitting, just to clarify)
We have a yellow sided green cheek conure (I think? Is that how you spell it?? I don’t care) And he is always screaming and is super messy and always wants to come out. 😛 Toby (a cockateal. Again don’t care about spelling) only screams when he doesn’t have food or is scared. But he is very paranoid lol.

Feeling positive. I just need to go over some general stuff and then, finally, my novel should be ready for the Beta stage. So many new cats came into the cat shelter today! There were 2 new litters of kittens which are the most a d o r a b l e little kitties e v e r. There’s also a new cat which has the same name as me and she’s black and white with green eyes 🙂 I played with a litter of 5 kittens which came in yesterday and apparently my shoes, hair and fingers are the tastiest things ever according to them 😛
That sounds like HEAVEN! I am so jealous!!! 😍 What color were the kittens? I’m sure they’ll be adopted in a heartbeat! Also, do you volunteer at your shelter?
I’m doing a 2-week work experience there 😀 the kittens are all sorts of colours; black, ginger, silver tabby, silver tabby and white, brown tabby, black and white and tortoiseshell 😀

Muffin can play fetch
Melodie will do it sometimes! But only if she’s in the mood for it, and it’s usually like a ball or something. I like to throw it down the stairs for her. She won’t bring it back though – she’ll run after it and bat at it for a little bit and then sit down next to it and stares at me like “Well? Come get it already!” So I go downstairs and get it, and she’ll follow me back up, and I’ll throw it again. 😛

This is random but does anyone know when or what BlogClan Gatherings are?
Blogclan gatherings are when you participate games on the Chat, and there’s fanfic and fanart contests as well. They happen at least twice a year ^^
They are held on live chat over a day and BlogClan comes together for games and stuff and there are teams and stuff 😀 I’ve only been to a wiki one, not a blog one, so this is what I think 😛

Gatherings are when we all migrate over to the lice chat for a day of friendly competitions! We play games that test our Warriors knowledge, such as trivia and Name That Book, and also things like NTA. We’re all divided into teams, and you win points for your team by winning games. We also have a fanfiction and a fan art contest, which also wins points for the teams, and whichever team has the most points wins! 🙂 But it isn’t all games – we have time for random chatter as well. 🙂 BlogTeam is organising a summer gathering, actually! Stay tuned for more information! ^-^

Sports day update:
I ran two races, 800 metres and 300 metres. In 800 metres, I came last. In 300 metres, I came second to last. Buuuuuuuuuut in 300 metres there was only four people running instead of eight like it should have been, so I TECHNICALLY came third, which makes me sound better than I am. 😛 I also forgot to put on suncream. Ow.
Our team won anyway, but the real highlight of the day was eating a Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough ice cream.
Third place, congrats! Don’t worry, I never place either ^^ Good job for trying, though! Lucky ice cream 😀
