I read this post on Tumblr that was basically a giant Warriors rant that was one giant jab at the Erins.
Now, I donβt mind if people hate Warriors. Itβs their opinion, and theyβre entitled to it.
Now, this person accused the series and the Erins themselves of being racist.
Why?
Because, obviously, Warriors has a white savior complex(sarcasm)!
Their reasoning was, the Clans are the white people. They save the Tribe(who they compared to Native Americans)from a mountain lion and a group of rogues(never mind that the Tribe are largely pacifists because of their isolation). Then thereβs BloodClan, which the OP compares as a black mafia gang, who go into unfamiliar territory and are quickly broken apart by the white savior Clans. And then thereβs everyone else whoβs not a Clan cat or any of the aformentioned groups, who the OP compares as minorities, which the Clans constantly pick on and mock.
When will some people realize that not everything is a metaphor? The Erins didnβt mean it that way, so stop accusing someone of doing something they didnβt do.
(Also, the OP accused the Erins of being sexist, but thatβs for another day.)
Ugh. I hate it when people do that. I once saw a video on YouTube where this person said he didnβt like warrior cats because he was a dog person and too many kids on scratch read the books.
Tumblr is like that sometimes. Itβs really frustrating. I love tumblr, but you have to be careful at what you look at. A lot of people just want to start arguments. You have to be careful about who you follow. I have a lot of tags blocked for that exact reason π
Today was great, I had a double taekwando class, got to miss an hour of social studies, and in the night I went to a concert with my friends, at school, where we played dare, or extreme dare!
I missed one homework assignment in language arts (I had a 100% before because it was the beginning of the 9 weeks) and last time I checked it had dropped to a 69 π
Yikes, that sounds concerning. Is there a way to view all your assignments so you can see whatβs causing the discrepancy? You should talk to your teacher about it. It could be a mistake or something you can easily make up.
Itβs a really pretty color! I wish I saw the changing colors this morning though. It would have been nice to see what they look like, and purple is my favorite color.

All you need to know about Tokyo Ghoul is uhhhhhh… hmmmmmm… how do I make this blog-friendly? Let’s just say that uhhhhhh… the pages of the manga are covered in black and white ketchup. Ghouls like ketchup. They survive off ketchup like ketchup vampires. But they like their ketchup with uhhhhhh… fries. Oof. And she let me borrow the manga.
For coloring stripes, what I often find is you should never color them like, pitch black. If you’re doing a orange-hue-y brown tabby then maybe make the tabby stripes a darker red with lower saturation (so not like a real red, but like a duller dark red). For painting stripes on, you’ll find stripes are much thinner than you’d think: and also be aware of what type of stripes you’re going for! Mackerel tabbies (you can look these up) have very thin and plentiful stripes, with some starting from a darker stripe on the back, some showing up on the sides, etc. Classic tabbies are solid and wavy blocks where more of the cat is really the stripe color than not. Spotted tabby are what they sound like–thin stripes, lots of individual spots that sometimes appear in a very linear fashion. I find that most people usually have mackerel tabbies as their fursonas, so I find drawing classic tabbies or spotted tabbies interesting to shake things up! π
