I sketched out the background (no color) and 5 cats (Blueheart, Swanfeather, Darkpaw, Gingerblossom, and Hootsnout). No color or lineart so far. But it’s looking really nice! I’m super happy that I did Gingie and Hooty without using a drawing of the artist I like as a reference, and instead an actual cat photo and then I converted it into my art style myself. 😀 Super pleased with it so far!

geese ftwA fanfiction and a couple videos brings me to this theory. Thornclaw has a sad secret. Four possible scenarios to why he is the “Patrol Guy”.
1. He feels extremely bad even though he was forgiven for training in the dark forest and tries to make it up to himself and Starclan by going to patrol all of the time.
2. He suffers from ASD and he happens to be fastinated in patrols. However, this is a lot more happy as that means his clan and his mate accepts him for who he is.
3. He thinks that patrols is all he is good at and does it in fear of looking puny.
4. He is extremely jealous of his siblings and yearns for praise, in fear of being forgotten despite how hard he works.
Which one do you like the best? Leave it down in the comments below. Also ASD: Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Extra: My reasoning for him having this is a short temper, focus on one thing (patrols), and him always keeping things organized and him getting upset when they aren’t.
Oof… that was a lot! I wish Thornclaw would have a more fleshed out character as I see a lot of potential, had he not been shoved into the background.
I like ShadedMoss way too muchYeah, I think the Erins made a mistake on his age or something, because he is as old as brackenfur (who can do no wrong.) I never would have thought he would train in the DF. I bet there’s cats in the DF younger than brackenfur.
