Oof! I understand why you’d be scared, but just know that the doctors know what they’re doing, and the surgery is going to help you. *hugs*
Aw I feel that surgery and really any doctor visits scare me really bad. But I had surgery once when I was younger, and they just put you to sleep and you never feel a thing. I don’t even remember the area hurting afterwards, but that probably depends on the person and the surgery.

Idk why you’re having one, but I’ve had a couple for my stupid toe. 😛 You’ll be fine, I promise. You won’t even remember falling asleep and you’ll feel much better after everything is over. 🙂
What kind of surgery? My old third grade teacher once had her doctor come to our classroom to give her her flu shot, and she took calming, mindful breaths and claimed to not have felt it. Before they put u to sleep, take slow, deep breaths, and focus on your breath only. To u it’ll prob feel like a nice nap, and when u wake up, you might not know how much time passed at all! (I’ve never had surgery, so sry if my advice doesn’t work!)

My drivers ed class seems to be trying to scare me into following driving laws with videos about various teens dying in crashes and what not and all it’s doing is making me less and less enthusiastic about ever touching a steering wheel 😛

when I was doing driver’s ed we had this guest speaker come in and he did a very elaborate speech about how if we died in a car crash our families would mourn and would have to pick out our coffins and gravestone and how much our families would be crying at our funerals and then as soon as he finished the speech he just walked out of the room and left us there in silence. he never came back.
