BlogClan Tavern, The Seventh Wonder of the World

I’m gone for a week and a half and you’ve already gone and made a new tavern, the best things happen when you’re not there. Anyways I just stopped by to say hello and everything is going good 🙂

CHAPTER 6
“Let all ShadowClan cats gather around the High Branch for a Clan meeting,” Russetstar’s loud voice rang in Spiderstrike’s ears. The morning sun made Spiderstrike feel lively, ready for a new assignment. Spiderstrike leaped out of bed and sprinted towards the High Branch. Acornbright and Lionclaw were comfortably chatting to each other again near him. In the distance, Spiderstrike spotted a paw wave towards him, it was Squirrelblaze, Juniperberry, and Acornclaw.

“Spiderstrike, come here,” Squirrelblaze demanded as he then chuckled as Spiderstrike waddled towards him. Acornclaw followed him. Wildclaw was standing next to him, the leash that had tortured him had wrapped around Wildclaw’s neck. Spiderstrike was pleased with himself, he had proved to his clan that Hareflight was innocent and Wildclaw was not. Wildclaw made contact with Spiderstrike, Spiderstrike pretended not to look at him, instead, he stared at the leaves on the bushes behind him. Wildclaw snarled, making a dreadful noise. Sapheart was holding the leash, he held it tighter, making Wildclaw chock for a few seconds. Sapheart then let ShadowClan’s new prisoner breathe. Wildclaw cried on the inside while glaring at Sapheart. Sapheart didn’t look back at Wildclaw but winked at Spiderstrike. Spiderstrike winked back.

Hareflight arrived, his kits Love, and Sprinkle were hiding behind their mother Leopard. Spiderstrike didn’t know that Hareflight had had kits so fast. Hareflight looked proud at Spiderstrike and touched their noses while he sat down, next to his friend Spiderstrike. “Thank you Spiderstrike, I shouldn’t have placed all that pressure on your hands. But I knew you could do it, good job.” Hareflight put out his hand and so did Spiderstrike. Peace was in the clan once again.

“I couldn’t do it without your help though,” Spiderstrike teased, and patted Hareflight’s back.

Russetstar cleared her throat, receiving attention from every cat. Blazefoot and Fangclaw were having a fun time together but they stopped. “Today I have good news and bad news. I will start with the bad news first. The bad news is that I am on my last life now, I hope when I die, my new deputy can serve me well.” Everyone gasped. Everyone’s mouths were open. Everyone was devastated. Leaders are not meant to tell other warriors about how many lives their leaders had. Russetstar did, what if something evil hurt and killed Russetstar? Spiderstrike thought to herself, what if Wildclaw had planned this all along?
