For some reason, with one of the charterers in my story (Xander/Simon), I really really ship him with a crush of his and also especially his best friend, which is an issue because he can end up with either of them 😐
unless I completely abandon all my planned plot in pursuit of those adorable ships……I do ship him with the person he ends up marrying, but not nearly as much as the other two :c it makes me sad that even in my own story I still can’t have my favorite ship be cannon 😑*can’t end up with either of them

For a long time I couldn’t figure out if I ship my main character Fireblaze with Risky (who is her crush) or Jack (who is her awkward but loyal friend)
Her and Risky don’t really know each other at first and he doesn’t even notice her. Jack is loyal to her (as a friend) but she has low tolerance for him.
I used to like FireXJack so much better, because I felt like Jack was more friendly and I liked his character better. And also I thought it would be good if she learns to like him. But in order to make FireXJack work I would have to change the plot since FireXRisky was already canon 😛
Luckily I recently fell in love with FireXRisky, otherwise I would still be stuck with this problem! I guess I looked at Risky’s personality deeper and realized that he really is kindhearted and good, and does love Fireblaze.
Also because I watched a show with characters whose relationship is a lot like Fire and Risky’s, and they were really cute together.
I would suggest asking yourself what is more important, what you like more- the plot or the ships and then going with that. It is your book, after all, so you should go with what makes you happy.
I would have had to make such a tough desicion if I hadn’t magically started liking FireXRisky! 😛Sadly the plot must come first :[
I can always write some fan fiction of my own storyHe cant be with his crush because they end up on opposite sides of a war which is…..awkward to say the least 😛 and him being with his best friend would A.) get in the way of a cute ship I had planned for the best friend, and B.) be tricky due to the fact that they age at different ratesalthough their ages are both really odd, so it could probably work….You could just write something like Unlocked, where it’s gonna star Sophie and Keefe big time :0

Yes lol. Me and my oc Watermelonpaw have weird arguments (okay fine no but well). Normally I’m thinking of who to ship her with..
