Touch – Clear Sky (Song: ‘Touch’ by Daft Punk)
The song is about a man who thinks that he is incapable of feeling emotion until he falls in love, and I think that suits Skystar (maybe also Crowfeather).
Randy – Firestar (Song: ‘Randy’ by Justice)
This idea shows Firestar throughout his life, learning and growing to become the legend that he eventually became.
Starry, Starry Night – Featherwhisker & Goosefeather (Song: ‘Starry, Starry Night (Vincent)’ by Don McLean)
I imagine this PMV having a traditional, textured look similar to the work of Vincent Van Gogh (the namesake and inspiration of the song).
Wuthering Heights – Mapleshade (Song: ‘Wuthering Heights’ by Kate Bush)
I want a shadow puppet show-inspired look to this MAP where everything is a silhouette, even the character designs where the only way you can tell them all apart is their silhouette.
Automaton – The Three (Song: ‘Automaton’ by Jamiroquai)
This MAP shows the Three (Jay, Lion & Dove) questioning their power and why they were chosen by Starclan. I want there to be a Sci-Fi/Futuristic look and feel to this MAP (if I ever actually host it and make it a reality).
I love these so much! I’ve got a couple ideas, too, for once I get the hang of animation a lil better, too, and when I get a platform from which I can host MAPS.
There’s a Reason – Hollyleaf (Song: Jubilee Line by Wilbur Soot. LANGUAGE WARNING)
I imagine this to be a very sketchy, moving-lines PMV. Simple, black-and-white, like pen on paper. The song fits Hollyleaf incredibly well, telling the story of how betrayed she felt after she found out her true parentage and her choice to leave for the tunnels.
Saline Solution – Bluestar (Song: Saline Solution by Wilbur Soot. LANGUAGE WARNING)
A MAP showing Bluestar’s decline into faithlessness.
Guiltless – Squirrelflight (Song: Guiltless by dodie)
A MAP showing Squirrelflight’s exasperation over Bramblestar’s treatment of her. I want it to look sort of light-hearted and cartoony, with moving/sketchy lines.
Point to Prove – Crookedstar (Song: Point to Prove by Bug Hunter)
A MAP showing Crookedstar growing up and evolving as a character, starting from when he was a kit and going into his leadership.
