Ooh today was a good day. I went biking and picked up some candy and oreos with friends, then I biked back to my friends house and asked if I could stay there for a bit since i didn’t feel like biking back home. We ended up watching some Harry Potter and eating grilled cheese haha 😛

I’m actually going through Power of Three for the first-ish time? Technically I’ve read it in scraps before, but I still count this as the first time I’m really reading it. I’m about halfway through the first book (my speed as a reader has definitely decreased over quarantine, and getting into habit of reading more is proving to be somewhat difficult) and I think it’s pretty cute! I kinda wish that Hollypaw would have stayed as a medicine cat, as I find it annoying that medicine cats always seem to be naturals even when just starting out.
Maybe that’s because they are specially gifted and chosen by StarClan?
And I don’t think medicine are naturals even when they’re just starting out. We see a lot of medicine cats struggling through the first stages of their training:)
And Hollyleaf just wasn’t cut out to be a medicine cat. Also, where would poor Jayfeather go then? Stay in the elder’s den?

I think the reason Hollyleaf didn’t continue being a medicine cat is because she was more focused on the end goal of being remembered and important than the journey a medicine cat has to take to get there 🙂 at least that was my interpretation of it- but i love power of three, it was the first arc i read
