Got any blog-related questions? Or have you simply come to remind yourself of who the mods are? This is where they lurk…

And so, BlogTeam would like to formally introduce themselves! Who are BlogTeam, you may ask? BlogTeam are a collection of volunteers who keep the blog running by moderating comments to make sure they’re blog-friendly and deal with any other issues that may come up on the blog 🙂 Time to meet them!

Roles: Article Editor, Deputy

Pronouns: She/her

Hello! I’m a Canadian university student and one of the Article Editors in BlogTeam. I am BlogClan’s current deputy and I love photography, reading, and writing!

Roles: Medicine Cat, General Moderator

Pronouns: She/her

Hello! I’m Icy, a typical high schooler with a penchant for coffee. I’ve been on BlogClan since 2015. Currently I act as a general moderator and medicine cat. I hope to one day pursue a medical degree, but for now I read (lots), volunteer with at risk youths in an equine program, work at a library, and practice my photography, art and baking. Ask me anything or just say hi, I don’t bite!

Hey everyone! I’m Birchy and I help Emb schedule articles for the blog. I’m a senior in high school and preparing to head off to university!! I love writing, reading, drawing, video games, and theatre!

Roles: Monthly Round-Up in Cats Editor

Pronouns: She/her

Hi! I’m an American college student and I write the Monthly Round-Up in Cats. I have been on the blog since 2012. I love dogs more than anything, and in my free time I enjoy drawing and writing!

Roles: Allegiances Tsar, Clanniversary Tsar, TSGN Tsar

Pronouns: Any (Surprise me!)

Hello! I’m an American high school student and work the BlogClan Allegiances alongside Goldi. In this capacity, I work on updates for the Allegiances and manage the Senior Warrior campaigns. I make Clanniversary posts as well, and head the TSGN project. I exist somewhere within the bounds of time and space and consider my cats to be a main focal point of my life. I spend my free time reading books, working on my first novel, and improving my art style.

Roles: Birthday Editor

Pronouns: She/her

Watch as the elusive Cheetah tries (and fails) to come up with a creative mini-biography for herself… Anyway, I’m the Birthday Tsar around here, which means that I create birthday posts for each of our fabulous members! I’m a run-of-the-mill American high school student who enjoys reading, writing, theatre, and everything in between.

Roles: Allegiances Tsar

Pronouns: They/them

Heya! I’m an American high school student and an Allegiances Editor on BlogClan, which means I manage the official Allegiances and Senior Warrior campaigns. I also often add and moderate events for the Calendar! I’ve been on the Blog since February of 2016 and every moment since has been amazing. During my spare time, I like to draw, crochet, and hang out with my pets.

Roles: Contests Host, BitS Editor

Pronouns: She/her

Hi! I’m a Canadian high school student and my role on the Blog is just helping out where I can! I paint and play soccer in my spare time outside of studying and trying to get good grades.

Feel free to ask BlogTeam any questions below! Want some help on the blog? We’ve got your back!

If you’re looking for your Warriors questions answered, you probably want to head to our Ask the Experts page instead!

    • do you mean how we keep track of who’s who? it’d be like for anyone else on the blog! we do get to see all of your past comments which may help, as well as your email address, although no mods really pay attention to those 😛

  • Hi! I was wondering, is BlogClan safe for all ages? Can you tell me why or why not?

    • Yes, because all comments must be approved by moderators before they appear publicly on the blog. Any comments that have very mature content will either be discussed by BlogTeam and let through with a warning at the beginning or be deleted. With the addition of spoiler tags in our new comment system, hiding content that not all BlogClanners would feel comfortable reading (such as things on the hug page or fanfics that contain some level of mature content that is not too extreme) is even easier than before!

Moderators are also available for any concerns you might have and we try to accommodate for everyone on the blog and make it a nice, safe atmosphere for all ages, nationalities, sexualities, genders, religions and more 🙂

  • How come I haven’t seen many comments from Kat?

    • Kat’s very busy with college! Regardless of how often you see her, she is there and she’s awesome! She’s around as much as possible and makes the Monthly Round Up in Cats for everyone to enjoy. :3

  • Also, when do you think BlogClan will end?

    • there’s no queens on blogclan because its mostly populated by children and teens, who hopefully do not have children 😛 as such, there are no “mothers” for the kits!

      • But why did Copperclaw have a son in Trailing Stars? Just wondering 😛

        • i…do not know 😛 I was not around when Copperclaw was active and we’re not in touch, so I can’t ask her either. I’m assuming a plot device?? 😛

        • The writer of the chapter probably forgot that we’re all children and teenagers in cat bodies during the story, so they thought of it as a normal clan life/warriors fan fiction story and treated it as such, where it’s just our purrsonas living their lives in a clan instead of us humans trying to live like them, if that makes sense. 😛

That’s probably why some characters have kits that aren’t acknowledged or mentioned again after the chapter.

    • Is HunterClan a roleplay? If you need a place to roleplay for your Clan, you can always ask another BlogClanner for a secret page (little hidden pages on the blog that you can claim that most people use for roleplays) and then post the link in the Roleplaying Discussion Page for more members to join 🙂

  • There’s an article that says its a week old. And an article that says its seven days old. I’m presuming the standard for a week is the same in Great Britain. So why is it like this!

    • Ahhh no idea! Probably something about the number of hours?? I don’t know 😛

  • Hey, members of BlogTeam, how did you get onto the BlogTeam? Was there some sort of test you get? How did you guys become mods?

    • Hiiii!
So most mods became mods through applications! Including me.
That’s the post where I signed up!
When applications open, a post just like that comes out on the main page and every position has a form for you to put your name, email, and why you feel you’d be qualified to be a moderator. If you’re chosen, you become part of BlogTeam!
Some mods are contacted privately to become part of BlogTeam later on, usually based on their older application if a new position opens up that would suit them. If they accept, they become part of BlogTeam as well.

The most recent batch of mods (me, Birchfoot, Goldenfawn, Rainshine, Cheetahspark, Kat, Winterwhisper, Rosefur) were chosen based on that post in April, 2019. There are currently 12 members of BlogTeam. As such, it may be quite a while before applications open again! 🙂

        • I believe the general rule is 13 or older! Moderators can be subjected to various unsavory things behind the scenes that have to be trashed and never make it onto actual pages on BlogClan, so younger folks shouldn’t have to see that. Out of the twenty moderators ever brought onto BlogTeam (disregarding Kate and Josh), two have been apprentices (Snakepaw/fang and Goldenfawn) and the other eighteen have been warriors.

      • Aww, one way I stay dedicated is by having responsibilities…

        • You cans start a game on the warriors game page, host an RP, post installments of a fanfic
blogteam isn’t the only way to stay dedicated 😛 everyone on blogteam was on here quite a while before ever making it onto the team!

            • hey, that’s completely fine! if something is draining you emotionally exhausting you, or it’s just plain not fun, you don’t have to do it! blogclan is all about enjoying yourself, so no one here would every ask something of you that you don’t want to do 🙂 obviously it sucks when you don’t have motivation for certain things, but no one will judge you for it!

  • Hoi! When was my first comment? I want to know because I want to vouch for Moky, but I think I have to be in BlogClan for 2 moons? Right? And I think I join somewhere in September maybe
