Is there a specific time that mods moderate comments?
Whenever we get a chance! Lots of us are in different timezones and have different schedules with high school and college, so we all moderate when we’re able. I tend to mod comments on breaks from my work. All of the mods are in either North America or Britain, which is why you can see that comments are generally not modded when it’s nighttime in those associated timezones. :3
I keep seeing you reply to a question/comment, and then Embix reply, do you guys just not see each others comment or not realize the other already answered?
Sometimes, mods end up modding comments at the same time! Our dashboards don’t keep an updated list of comments, so if we both start out looking at the same list of comments and one person mods a comment, the other person will still see that comment as unmodded! The unfortunate accident that happens is that we’ll both reply to the same comment, completely unaware that the other person has done so at around the same time 😛
I do that all the time and then get embarrassed and end up deleting my comment out of shame 😛

What’s the time zone of the website? It sure isn’t the same time zone as me, where I am in the U.S.
I believe someone figured it out to be Central European Time, which is UTC+1!
I thought it was the BST time.
I think BST matches up to Central European time 😛

Copy the image url (it should end in .png, .jpg, .gif, etc) and paste it into a comment. Our comment system will automatically turn it into an image!
when you search up the free image host link, you scroll down and at the bottom, there should be a url you can copy. Copy and paste it onto a comment, highlight it and click the link button at the bottom
Who was the hardest retired mod to let go of…(ie. acknowledge that they are no longer active if that makes sense ’cause I know they still help from behind scenes)?
I mean…that’s not exactly a viable question?
Letting go of anyone is really hard. When someone says they’re leaving forever and then they’ve actually left…forever…can be very difficult. I think what you’re talking about is when a moderator isn’t active on the Blog but is still active in the Slack; those moderators are generally not retired. Retired moderators move on from the Blog and the Team in most cases.
Obviously retirement will harder affect those closest to the person, especially those who served around the same time and worked with them often. It’s also a subjective opinion. So there isn’t really a way to answer your question.

You’re not bothering me! <3 Which birthday gift that you sent never came through? And do you mean that you sent in gifts that were never posted or the link that's supposed to go to my email on the Birthdays page isn't working? If it's the latter, you can always send in gifts through a comment on the blog with the words "DO NOT MOD - SAVE FOR CHEETAH" written up top 🙂 If it's the former and you know for a fact that the email did send, it was probably a personal error of mine! I always try to be on top of things when I'm making posts but sometimes I forget, though I try not to let it happen that much.
I think the ones for embix and captain didn’t go through, I sent the email tho 😀
Embix’s did go through, I just put it in there late because I forgot to check my email that day (so your art is there, I was just late in adding it to the post) 😛 And I know I made Captain’s post a day or two late, so that probably had something to do with it. Sorry, but at least that means the email is working and it was just my fault 😛

Don’t worry comments never auto-delete! The most is that if you don’t see your comment modded after a day or two later it could be in the spam folder!

It’s not possible to make a secret page into a password protected page.
So, what happens if someone gets the password? 😛
Well, if you give them the link to the secret page, they’ll just automatically be able to see the entire page. I know Maplekit tried to work around that by making so that the riddle answers make up the secret page’s URL?
I mean, i dont have a secret page i can use. boo

you could make a page that the clues lead too, and then they say the code? but then anyone would know the code even if they got it wrong.. idk sorry
