I like and enjoy reading about her, regardless of the fact that she’s not my favorite character in the Warriors universe. I appreciate her devotion and fierce protection of her kits once she realized the truth about Tigerstar, and the measures that she took to ensure that her Clanmates respected and treated Bramblestar and Tawnypelt with compassion. She was a compassionate and gentle elder and young warrior as well, but, above all else, I like her as a queen – when her fiery spirit is revealed along with her more explicit empathy and love.
This comment perfectly sums up my opinion on her! 🙂

I like Holltuft, Sorrelstripe is cool and Fernsong is THE BEST
Hollytuft exists. That’s literally all I think about her 😛 Her siblings, though, I have opinions on. Sorrelstripe is also a random background character, Fernsong is the SWEETEST CAT EVER I LOVE HIM, Spotfur is an awesome feisty rebel and my second favorite character, Flywhisker is a brat, and Snaptooth is meh.

Hollytuft and Sorrelstripe are just… there. Fernsong is very nice!
I feel like they could have done so much more. Hollytuft, Sorrelstripe and Fernsong are all mainly known for being named after cats who died defending their clan and home from The Dark Forest. They would have made incredibly interesting protagonists.

I think she’s a pretty basic, standard side character. But if they did more with her and Leafpool’s friendship, I think she would have made a good supporting character.

I honestly think she’s underrated! As a newborn Sorrelkit and her siblings had to go through The Great Fire, which led to them having trouble breathing (the smoke), and they lost their home (where they were born). Then she sees the other kit hauled off by a hawk (eagle??). So they experience death VERY early.
Then she is poisoned by Darkstripe. (many more too lazy to write)
Sorreltail’s entire life was based on life moves on, which she needed to accept.
Her final moments were spent defending her Clan, which I think is a great thing 🙂
I like her, she was a good mother and a loyal warrior. Also, her friendship with Leafpool was amazing!

I think she was a good supporting character in Dawn Of The Clans! She’s pretty interesting, but I think she falls into the same old mould of “pretty she-cat love interest”, and I believe she needed more flaws to make her more interesting to read about.

Onewhisker was nice enough, but they literally ruined his character when he became a leader 😛
Based off of his super edition, he’s similar to Mapleshade in the way that he tries to justify his wrongdoings and put himself in a good light. He also treats his two love interests horribly and he’s overall a very reckless, annoying character.
