Guys I just realized ShadowClan are sexistic. Their last 7 leaders are Houndstar, Cedarstar, Raggedstar, Brokenstar, Blackstar, Rowanstar, and Tigerstar, and they’re all toms :<
I wanted Russetfur to be leader sooooo bad, she’s still one of my favorite characters for some reason, and is one of the reasons I don’t like Lionblaze. But yes, ShadowClan needs more she-cat leaders!

I don’t believe they had sexist intentions, it probably was just the luck of the draw when it came to who they had in mind to be deputy.

I just realized something. There are prey in StarClan that the deceased cats hunt and kill. And there are trees in the Dark Forest. What did the prey do to deserve being hunted and killed even in the afterlife? And what did the trees do to deserve the Dark Forest?

I personally wouldn’t 😛 he was very toxic and tried to force Twigbranch to have kits, even though she’s the one that will have to go through the pregnancy, give birth, and stop being a warrior for a while to care for them.
So, peeps, I understand yall think Finleap was creepy, and he totally was, but after a while he figured that out himself. I think he was just really distressed and anxious and feeling like he didn’t belong in TC. It’s a bad excuse but I’m ready to forgive him, just sayin’
We’ve seen nothing of him after AVOS. Who KNOWS if he changed. And I personally would never forgive him like ever for what he did, it’s DISGUSTING.

Last page I asked what y’all’s five favorite cats were, and posted this again on the BlogClan Wiki. I also asked this question on Reddit to gather a larger sample size. I will be submitting an article analyzing the data provided by the results of the survey in much more detail, but I thought I’d post a bit of it here.
The idea was that if a cat was someone’s favorite character, they would get five ‘points’, which were used to measure overall popularity. If they were someone’s second favorite character, they got four points. If they were someone’s third favorite character, they would receive three points. Being someone’s fourth favorite character earned a cat two points, and being one’s fifth favorite character earned them one point. Therefore, every person who participated in the survey had a total of 15 points to give.
I then added up all the points every cat mentioned received and listed them from most points to least points. Here were the top fifteen scores:
1. Jayfeather: 72 Points.
2. Ivypool: 52 Points.
3. Squirrelstar: 45 Points
4. Tie between Firestar and Hollyleaf, each with 31 points.
5. Brightheart: 28 Points.
6. Leafpool: 24 Points.
7. Bristlefrost: 22 Points.
8. Gray Wing: 21 Points.
9. Graystripe: 20 Points.
10. Tie between Yellowfang and Brambleclaw, each with 19 points.
11. Three-way tie between Tallstar, Longtail, and Cinderpelt, each with 18 points.
12. Tie between Feathertail and Mothwing, each with 17 points.
13. Alderheart: 16 Points.
14. Crowfeather: 15 Points.
15. Tie between Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw, each with 14 points.
In the article I will provide a few examples of why the characters are popular with the fandom (inserting the explanations people put for why they liked the characters they picked as their favorites. So I have a question, what if the deputy AND the leader died at the same time? *just now remembers A starless clan exists*😓🫣😶🌫️
This happened twice.
The first time, Snowstar and her deputy Brightwhisker both died (in Code of the Clans) a few hours apart from each other. Two warriors named Jumpfoot and Mossfire had a fight for leadership, but they both died. Redscar, their medicine cat, chose a cat named Flowerstem to become Flowerstar and receive her nine lives.
The second time, in River, Mistystar died unexpectedly and Splashtail killed Reedwhisker immediately after. Due to Splashtail and Curlfeather’s interfering, RiverClan has yet to choose a new leader after fake signs, incompetent temporary leaders, and an invasion from ShadowClan.
I think that the medicine cat should choose a successor or the Clan should vote, but in reality, the Clan would probably just fight until they found a leader.
I’m going to put this out there, a more popular opinion, but worth mentioning.
Warriors needs to end.
With the announcement of the new arc (Elder’s Quest) it feels like at this point the Erins are just regurgitating the same content over and over again just with new cats (or old ones for that matter). There are more cats in the clans than we can keep track of, and all “new” ideas just have something to do with StarClan.
Like any good series, Warriors has to come to an end. There are close to seventy books now, which is an INSANE amount for any series (even for the PJO universe). I feel like what draws me in to a series is it’s clear outline of plot and an ending. Warriors has no distinct ending, and it seems like it’s a loose collection of fanfics.
What about y’all? Do you want the series to end or do you want the Warriors series to continue?

There are 17 super editions, 21 (28 if you count the collections that contain three novellas) novellas, 47 main series books, 12 manga series books (15 if you count the collections that three of the manga series’ have), one graphic novel adaptation, five standalone graphic novels, and seven field guides. That means that there are 110-120 Warriors books in total, depending on what you count as a Warriors book.
As for your main point, I somewhat agree. Even the blurb for The Elders’ Quest shows high similarity to The New Prophecy. I hope that the authors have original ideas and the blurb is just not showing them. I like Warriors as a series, and I don’t want it to end as long as it keeps producing quality books, like the books in A Starless Clan, which, in my opinion, are some of the best books in the series. I hope the book isn’t as unoriginal as it seems.

I haven’t read the latest arc (A Starless Clan), so I can’t really judge the quality that the books are at now and whether it’s a good plot. I just want Warriors to end with a sense of finality, loose ends tied up, and familiar characters are there, and we know everything is moving on. As long as the plots of future arcs are refreshing and don’t drag on, I’m fine with new arcs, but once the same material is reused, it gets annoying. The Erins should just host a competition and take a plot from a fanfiction if they need to 😛 I’ve always thought Shadeleap’s fanfiction series would make a great main arc! :p
