Need some help with school? You’ve come to the right place!
Welcome to the Training Hollow, where you can get help from or help others with their academics! If you can’t quite understand something you learned in school or you’re stuck on a particular question, ask away for help on this page! There’s just one pretty important rule to follow on this page:
NO ACADEMIC FRAUD!
Academic fraud means cheating on your quizzes, tests, labs, and assignments by using answer keys or by purely copying another person’s work (aka plagiarism). Please do all of your work by yourself! Even if someone gives you the step-by-step solution, do it again yourself so you can understand how the solution was reached or why something specific was done in a specific step.
To those wishing to help others, try to focus more on helping the BlogClanner reach the answer themselves 🙂 Teach them the methods or reasoning that’ll lead to the solution. Just giving them the answer might not teach them how to do similar questions in the future!
As the old saying goes,
Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.
Evolved from the writings of Anne Isabella Thackeray Ritchie

Hello!
HI Stonekit, how are you? If you want to get to know more people, I suggest that you visit the tavern. This is a page for getting help with school work and such.
hey, do you need help on anything?
Hi there! 😀
Does anyone have a good grasp on Norwegian? I’m trying to find the lyrics to this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGbv8fK2B9M) because I think the way the words are pronounced are very pretty, but I can’t find any lyrics, and trying to type them out myself has proved very difficult 😅 I’ve gotten this so far (first blank edited to fill in from what Wisteriakit gave!):
Å, god morgen, små venner! Din er sangen er så vakker.
Ja, det er en veldig fin dag i dag. Som du absolutt (a??) verdt å synge om.
Musikk klankt alle trærne [It says “klankt” is misspelled, but that’s what I hear 😅]
Og musikk er i dalen har
Musikk ________ å så klart
Musikk høres nær de elven
Og musikk i gresset dar
Og det _________ å sveve som et svar
Notttt sure if I’m right, and especially the blanks is where I need help 😛 Thanks so much if this is possible! 😀
Okay so I’m norwegian but I’m not really good at the language- but I can try and see if I can understand it. Most of it you got (and I’m too lazy to pay attention to a full song-), but I’ll fill in the blanks as I hear them.
-Vart a singe *i think, don’t trust my hearing* (great at singing, I believe it means)
-va. (going to)
– shen (Not so sure, but possibly know?)
Thank you, that filled in the first blank for me! 🙂
I’ll try, but I’m swedish and not norwegian so we’ll see how this goes :p
the last gap would be “känner hjärtat”!
The second gap is “musiken är så vacker”. In that gap you already have musik, but you are missing the last bit of the word! “Musiken” translates to the music
all of this is in swedish because i’m too lazy to translate it, but it should be fine to just run it through google translate
Thank you so much, these were exactly the missing pieces! 😀 You’re a lifesaver 😉
No problem, I’m glad to help 😀
Need advice on how to manage my time better :’)
If I’m given, let’s say 3 hours to finish an assignment, I allllllways spend at least two hours and a half just doodling and staring at nothingness and just not being able to concentrate AT ALL, and then I start panicking over how much time I’ve wasted and only then start doing that assignment ): And of course that leads to an incredibly rushed and rusty result. I’ve tried to concentrate during those two hours and a half but I just CAN’T, does that make sense? 😭 Sooo yeah, advice is greatly appreciated </3
personally, i found something that worked for me was setting myself a goal for the study session or work period, then promising myself a little gift if i finished it. i found the best ‘prize’ for me was watching a movie or an episode of a tv show, since they both take a while to finish. if i want my prize, i need to finish my work quickly and efficiently, but not rush it since i would set myself enough time to do it. it kept me working towards an end goal, realising i could relax afterwards.
however, i don’t often work for hours straight! i often take short breaks every >25 mins and check my phone quickly, grab a little snack or walk the dog, then hop back into work. often, i end up working for longer than the 25 mins, since i’m in the middle of a task and want to get it done, which is nice
the hardest part of studying is getting started! even though they don’t seem to be commonplace for me, the best work sessions are when i get into it asap instead of fumbling around. i try to find a nice clean space, sometimes go to a library or a park, pick a playlist and play some music, then get started right away. i try to force myself through the initial difficulty of starting to work on a project, because then it’s easier to get into the flow of things. (i find studying with music helps me, but the music that works best for me is kind of mellow, down tempo songs that i don;t know the lyrics to so i don’t stop studying to have a little singing break)
hope these tips help!
Ahh thanks sm Osp!! I’ll def try that (:
my tip: work and then take a break
try working for about an hour then take a 15 minute break. it helps for me (BIG TIP: remember to time your breaks so you don’t break for too long)
Thanks for the advice, Willow! (:
njadjnoad I can’t manage time sadly
but take breaks every 20 mins and eat cookies :3
Nah, I’m gonna eat cheese instead 😏 /j Thankss Cheeso! <3
Maybe work for a set amount of time (for example, 10 minutes), then stop and allow yourself to do whatever for 10 minutes. 🙂 I hope this helps!
Guten Tag everyone! Or morning, or night;;; does anyone has a good idea what to draw?? (btw the teacher said it’s ok to ask ppl)
thx a lot!
Make a “still life” with objects from around the house with different shapes and textures. Draw them from different angles. Shine light on them from different directions and observe how the shadows fall.
you can draw kawaii animals
A deer 😀 that was the first thing that came to mind, and I think that would be cool to draw :)) try drawing the antlers if you’d like an extra challenge, or maybe add a mysterious sorta forest in the background!!!
hey guyysss can any bio sillies explain the miller-urey experiment? tysmmm
sending you thought n prayers for ap bio🙏 unfortunately my notes are long gone and my biology knowledge disappeared as soon as I finished that ap exam but IIRC the experiment was a simulation that more or less proves that the building blocks of life ie organic molecules could be abiotically created thru gases and chemical reactions? it’s definitely a lot more than that but this is what I remember
tysm! i did my test on wednesday and im so so glad the stress is gone
Any tips for remembering masculine/feminine words when learning new languages?
