Nobody will stop you from creating. Do it tonight. Do it tomorrow. That is the way to make your soul grow – whether there is a market for it or not! The kick of creation is the act of creating, not anything that happens afterward. I would tell all of you watching this screen: Before you go to bed, write a four line poem. Make it as good as you can. Don’t show it to anybody. Put it where nobody will find it. And you will discover that you have your reward.

Power of Nature 1: Nature Growing: Chapter One Part Two

Robinkit stumbled up to Thunderstar, more dizzy than before. She shook her head to try to make it go away, but that only made it worse.
“Until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Robinpaw. Darkcloud,” she said, and Robinpaw heard a couple mutters among the cats. Darkcloud stepped up, surprise and pride in his eyes. “You are a newly made warrior, but I find you up for the task. Ypu have great strength and perserverence that you gained. Leaffur taught you well. I trust you will pass on your knowledge to Robinpaw.”
Th e moment they touched noses, Robinpaw felt something inside her snap. She collapsed on the ground, all of her strength gone. She could hear voices talking, mewing, yelling with worry. She felt Darkcloud pick her up by the scruff of her neck, and she felt her life force ebbing away. The last thing she heard was Cottenpaw yelling her name.
“Itll be okay, Robinpaw! Itll be okay!
    ” Robinpaw! Robinpaw! “

    Chapter 1
    “You can’t catch me, Badgerkit!”
    “Oh, yes I can!”
The black kit tumbled himself onto Stepkit’s ginger flank. He squeaked as Badgerkit’s tiny claws scratched his face.
“I’m better than you one day,” Stepkit eyed the black tom, as his whiskers twitched in amusement.
“I’m even better than you two!” Duskkit pounced on her brother, as Stepkit purred with amusement.
“That’s enough.” A sharp meow made the two kits freeze.
Violeteye sat eyeing them, a sharp look in her eyes. “You have to say goodbye.”
    “Goodbye to who?” Parsleykit wailed.
Goodbye? Did some cat die? Stepkit wondered. If so, who?
“You all know Rubblekit was feeling very unwell, yes?” Violeteye asked the four kits.
They all nodded, as the angry queen went on. “Well, Hollowblossom did everything she could to help Rubblekit’s cough. And…” the queen paused. “…she died.”
“No!” Duskkit let out a moan. “She can’t be dead!”
Rubblekit is dead? She couldn’t! She’s our littermate. She was my best friend.
Tawnymouse nudged her kits to the rocky entrance. “C’mon,” she murmured. “Let’s go to Rubblekit’s vigil.”
Parsleykit was standing in the darkest part of the nursery. “I’m not going,” she growled.
“You have to,” her mother urged her. “Your friend is dead. Come on.”
The white she-cat spun around, teeth bared. “Leave me alone!” she snarled.
The mottled she-cat flinched, as she backed away, Badgerkit holding onto her tail.
Violeteye turned to face Stepkit. “Aren’t you coming?”
He shook his head. “I’ll stay with Parsleykit.”
His mother hesiated, but softly mewed, “Okay. Duskkit must come though.”
His other sister leaped out of the den, as he walked to confront his denmate.
“Thanks for staying with me,” the white kit sighed. “I shouldn’t have snapped.”
“It’s alright,” Stepkit murmured. “It’ll be strange not having Rubblekit in the den. She was a great sister.”
Parsleykit nodded, a troubling look in her gaze. “I’m going to the vigil,” she announced. She glanced back. “Are you coming?”
“Yep,” He scrambled to his paws, as the two kits ran out of the nursery.
In the middle of the clearing, moonlight streaked on Rubblekit’s silver pelt. She didn’t look dead at all! She looked like she was sleeping.
Stepkit padded towards his mother. “Is she really dead? She looks like she’s sleeping!” he exclaimed.
Violeteye wrapped her tail around his ginger pelt. “She’s dead, and she’s in the paws of StarClan.” she breathed.
“But will StarClan accept her? I mean, she’s only a kit!” Stepkit questioned.
His mother fixed him with a hard stare. “Do you think she did anything wrong, or against StarClan?”
Stepkit shook his head. He hoped that his littermate was safe in StarClan.
“I think you should sleep now,” the black she-cat glanced at the rocky nursery. “You don’t want to be too tired for your apprentice ceremony.”
The ginger kit sprang up. How could have he forgotten? Then he felt a rush of grief and sadness. Rubblekit had missed out on their ceremony. If she had lived just one more day…
“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath highrock for a clan meeting.”
Stepkit bolted awake. It was his and Duskkit’s apprentice ceremony! He could never forget his dead sister, Rubblekit would live forever in his heart. Violeteye licked Stepkit’s ear. “Go on.”
The whole clan was gathered for the ceremony, including the warriors, queens, elders and apprentices.
“We are fortunate that leaf-bare is almost over,” Mothstar’s green eyes glowed with pride. “The nursery is full, and newleaf will bring us new kits. We all know that apprentices are the gift to a clan. And it is my pleasure to apprentice kits.”
When her name was called, Duskkit excitedly walked over to AspenClan’s leader, as she puffed out her chest.
“From this moment on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Duskpaw.”
Rubblekit should be here. Stepkit gazed at the blue sky. I hope she’s watching us become apprentices, I wouldn’t want her to miss out.
“Snailears.” The gray tom stepped towards the new apprentice. “Rowanfall mentored you well, and now it is time for you to take on an apprentice.”
Mothstar beconded her tail at Stepkit, as the ginger tom raced towards the leader.
“Stepkit,” she began. “From this day forward you shall we known as Steppaw. Shellstream,” The brown warrior padded next to her new apprentice. “You are ready to take on an apprentice. I expect you to mentor him well.”
“Steppaw! Duskpaw!” The cheers echoed through the camp.
Rubblekit, you should be Rubblepaw, Steppaw sighed. But I still have Steppaw and Violeteye. They need me.
Shellstream proudly walked over to her new apprentice. “Congratulations,” she licked his ear.
“What are we doing today?” he asked eagerly.
“Nothing very interesting, sadly,” the brown she-cat replied. “We need catmint for the sick cats, so we’re going to join the herb patrol. We might hunt for a while, though.”
“Great!” He bounced up happily, where Sedgewind, Sandyspring, Fawnpaw, Curlywing and Sheepsplash were waiting.
“I wonder why StarClan can’t just tell us where to find the herbs,” Sheepsplash huffed.
Curlywing flicked her fluffy tail sideways. “That wouldn’t work. StarClan always doesn’t have the answer to everything.”
Steppaw heard the blue-gray warrior snort with anger.
Sedgewind gave a nod to the patrol. “Let’s go.”
The rest of the patrol quickly walked in the direction of the thick aspens, while Fawnpaw fell beside with him.
“Hi,” the cream apprentice meowed. “How’s your apprenticeship going so far?”
He hesitated. What would he say? Fawnpaw had trained for moons, and even if she didn’t know, he liked the older apprentice. She was humorous and funny, and a great hunter. When Steppaw was in the nursery, she would always stop by to play with he and the kits.
“Fine,” he muttered. “I can’t wait to hunt.”
“So did I,” Fawnpaw glanced around, as if looking for catmint. “My first prey was a grouse.”
“Was it fast?” Steppaw wanted to know all about hunting, and also wanted to talk to Fawnpaw.
“It sure was,” The cream she-cat purred. “I climbed one of the thinnest aspen trees trying to catch that grouse. Sandyspring insited I should catch a mouse, but I wanted to catch the grouse. When it was on a branch, I sprang at it, and caught it first kill!”
“Wow,” He breathed. “That must have been brave!”
“There’s more,” Fawnpaw smiled, “I was about to climb down, but I heard Sandyspring calling for me. I thought it wasn’t anything, but the branch was creaking. Before I knew it, it was too late. The thin branch snapped and I fell!”
“How did you survive?” Steppaw saw that they had nearly reached outside the thick forest.
“I was lucky that the aspen was overhanging from the lake,” Fawnpaw explained. “I plunged into the water, but luckily a loner saved me. That loner joined the clan, and he’s the Sunclaw we know today!”
“Wow! Sunclaw is brave,” He breathed. Just then, a blue-gray pelt flashed in their sight.
“Are you two gonna stand there chatting all day?” Sheepsplash snapped. “We have to gather catmint, for StarClan’s sake!”
Fawnpaw sighed, as she joined the short-tempered warrior to start gathering the catmint.
Shellstream nudged Steppaw’s flank gently. “C’mon,” she insisted. “AspenClan needs the catmint. We need to gather it.”
The ginger tom started to nibble the stems off, but he couldn’t help think of Fawnpaw’s amazing hunting skills…

    Chapter Four
HazelSpirit woke up to the smell of burning and the sound of kits scrambling. “Run!” A gray and black tom screeched. “Hurry, grab the kits!” Said another. “What is going on?” HazelSpirit asked gently. Across her den a blaze of fire arose, blocking her in. “Help!” HazelSpirit screeched. 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑒. HazelSpirit thought sadly 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑒… PetalBird was behind her with AshWillow. 𝑁𝑜 𝑁𝑜 𝑁𝑜 𝑁𝑜! 𝐼 𝑤𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑙𝑒𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠! “Stop you soulless creatures!” She yelled and her own kin’s Eyes blazed with fury as another fire appeared infront of HazelSpirit. “Why are you doing this?!” HazelSpirit asked “Is this joy for you?! Killing innocent cats?!” HazelSpirit’s gaze got colder and colder until all the fire around her disappeared. HazelSpirit walked around the fire, putting it out slowly to let the young warriors, kits and apprentices live out their destiny. PetalBird leaped onto her sister, trying to scratch her eyes out. “Why You-“ PetalBird yelled angerly. “I hate you!” Those words hit HazelSpirit hard as she collapsed onto the floor, defeated. AshWillow looked at her and scratched her across her stomach then walked off. “I-I know you hate me, but why?” HazelSpirit murmured “Why do you make me and other cats suffer? I’m your kin…” PetalBird looked at her grounded sister and turned back. “I have no sister.” She said with an icy cold gaze. “I’d rather be dead then have a terrible sister like you.” HazelSpirit gazed at her “I love you…sister” She whispered then her heartrate got slower and slower.

WhisperWind came back with a mouthful of marigolds. “Here.” He mewed with a shaky voice. 𝑃𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟 WhisperWind though 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑎 𝑙𝑒𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑜. Winter Snow

A Post-Endgame Christmas AU written before Infinity War came out featuring Brodinsons. I started it in December 2017 and I just now finished it. 😅 Title song is Winter Snow by Audrey Assad.

    December 21, 2023
    Tulsa, Oklahoma
I stare out the window, my elbow leaning on the table. Some soft song plays in the background about the birth of a Savior and my brother hums along with it, his rumbling, jolly baritone ringing in my ears. I vaguely note that I can smell cookies. I want to chuckle at my brother’s sudden obsession with the Midgardian holiday, but I somehow can’t bring it to myself to do so. I wish I could say that I was as jolly as all the other Midgardians are this time of year, however, for me, all the season is is a reminder. A reminder of what we have lost to win. Of who we have lost.

I shudder in surprise as a tear drips, the first bit of emotion I have shown since Tony Stark and Steve Rogers’ gruesome deaths in our battle against Thanos seven months prior. It wasn’t your fault. You did everything you could, a voice in my mind that sounds suspiciously like Thor’s comforts, but I push it away because I want to take all of the blame. It is easier than pretending that nothing happened or pretending that I wasn’t involved. But, somehow, as much as I try to make myself the scapegoat, the hollow, emptiness that has been swallowing me whole remains, fighting stronger every time.

Thor is too naïve, joyful to notice my pain. Or, rather, that’s his way of dealing with the countless deaths. Somehow becoming the jolly den mother helps him cope, whereas scapegoating myself is how I cope. Coping, if you can call it that. I know as well as anyone that it isn’t healthy shutting myself off from the world, but how can I do anything different? Because every time I try to help, I end up causing more harm than good.

I sigh as the first few flakes of snow begin to trickle down. What I wouldn’t give to be a snowflake: beautiful, flawless, and peaceful, all traits I lack. The snowflakes drift to the ground and, almost on first contact, melt away into a puddle of nothingness.
I wish that on occasion: that I could just fade away into nothing without anyone noticing or caring. It would be more mercy than I deserve.

“Brother, stop staring at the snow and come eat! I have finished our supper!” Thor’s bright voice breaks into my introspection.

I nod and wave it off. “Uh huh, that’s great Thor,” I reply, refusing to take my eyes off of the snow. Norns above, I wish I knew what has captivated me so much about the snow. It’s not like I’ve never seen snow before. We got snow ever winter on Asgard. So what has captivated so much about the Midgardian snow? “Thor, do you ever wish it was just all end?” Where did that come from?

Thor startles, just as shocked at the question as I am at myself for asking it. “Wh-what are you referring to, Brother?”

I continue to stare into the snow flakes, but I only see color. Shape has become distorted. A voice that doesn’t feel like my own answers, “Sometimes, sometimes I just wish all this pain and death would end.” Turning away from the white nothing, I shift my gaze onto Thor’s gaudy red and green outfit. “Every night, I see them. I see Tony dying to save that spider-kid, Peter and I see your near-death. The worst is Steve, who died to save me after I betrayed him. Why would he, or anyone for that matter, show me such great kindness?”

Thor stares outside, contemplating an answer. “Loki, look at the snow,” he begins, his deep baritone calming me.

I furrow my eyebrows, not really following “I’ve been watching the snow for thirty minutes,” I deadpan. “Thor, what exactly are you getting at?”

“Look at how each flake is small, quiet, and gentle. Sometimes that’s all you need to heal: a small act of kindness to remind you that you are worth something,” Thor finishes, tugging at his long hair, almost nervously.

Suddenly, everything makes sense and tears pull my eyes. “Thank you, Thor,” I whisper, my voice full of awe at Thor’s words.

“Merry Christmas Loki,” he says, pulling me to his chest in a warm embrace. You came down like the winter snow, quiet, soft, and slow.

    This is real love.

    Chapter Five
A moon had passed at HazelSpirit wanted to end the hatred between her and her sister. There had been a clan meeting tonight and HazelSpirit wanted to know what it was about. “Every cat!” ShadeStar called “Can you please come to the gathering?” HazelSpirit nodded then sat down in front of the tall rock. Once everybody had gathered, ShadeStar had started speaking. “Today we honor a warrior that is now leaving the clan.” ShadeStar mewed “Her name is PetalBird.” Every cat gasped and meows of protest rose out of the crowd. “Yes, you peasant cats.” PetalBird silenced them “I am leaving you guys to start PetalClan!” HazelSpirit glanced at her “You should go nowhere but the dark forest!” She spat “You nearly killed me!” Many cats meowed with agreement “Yeah!” SpringBush mewed “You killed MoonKit!” HazelSpirit looked at her with a shocked look on her face 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑠ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑡? Every cat was now arguing and ShadeStar told them to be quiet with a flick of her tail. “For any cat who wants to go with her, stand here” ShadeStar’s tail pointed to a small bush and some cats lined up there. HazelSpirit looked at one of her friends with shock “A-AshWillow?” Her voice trailed off. PetalBird looked at her sister “I’ll give you all war.” She hissed then left with her party of cats.

I wrote out the first episode of a comic I want to do!

Keira walked up the cerulean palace steps, her red dress flowing around her feet. Slowly, she edged the dagger hidden within the folds of her belt into her hands. Luckily, her long black sleeves draped around her hands and covered the ruby blade. Subconsciously, she traced the elegant wing pattern in the handle, something she had done for as long as she could remember.

“Your Majesty, are you sure that it is wise to trust members of the Sapphire Kingdom?” Keira nodded in agreement with her guard, turning to see her father’s reaction. Rian glanced over at him, his red eyes matching the red cloth that he wore. Her guard paled for a moment, his gaze dropping down. “Even the d-duchess cannot be trusted.” Rian laughed softly, the skin around his eyes crinkling.

“The Sapphire Wolves may be sly on the battlefield, but they would not harm a guest. They have more honor than that.” Her father finished simply. Then he glanced over to Keira and furrowed his brow. “So if you’ll put that dagger back in your belt where it belongs…” Keira jumped, having momentarily zoned out. She fumbled with the dagger before sliding it back into her belt. Keira pushed back a strand of black hair, her pale face flushed. Rian smiled softly, his red eyes warm.

Keira admitted that her father did look threatening. After all, red eyes and a scarred face were frightening, as common as they were. However, he was truly sweet. He cared deeply for Keira and his kingdom, and would fight fiercely to protect them both.

“Keira,” Her father began, startling Keira out of her musings, “I know you have not been to many diplomatic meetings, but this will be perfectly safe.” He looked towards the giant palace doors, as deep a blue as the ocean itself. Keira sighed and rolled her amber eyes.

“You don’t know that.” Rian had opened his mouth to respond when the palace doors began to rumble. Slowly, the doors opened to reveal a massive palace with ceilings as high as the sky. They were also painted to look like a bright sunny day, something that amazed Keira. She would never admit it though. From another room, a pregnant woman stepped out, two guards at her sides. Her flowing blue gown was gorgeous, and matched beautifully with her white hair. Not that she was old. White and gray hair was common for members of the Sapphire Kingdom.

“Hello, welcome!” The duchess smiled, clapping her hands together, “Welcome to our humble home.” A smirk crept onto her lips, her green eyes flashing. For one, this wasn’t their home, simply a meeting place, and it was massive. Keira fought the urge to roll her eyes, but got distracted.

Where have I heard that before? She thought back, suddenly remembering a young boy.

“Hi! Hi! Welcome to our gigantic castle!” She smiled softly. Oh yeah, he used to say something like that.

Keira jumped as her father nudged her.

“Pay attention.” He whispered, glancing at her. Keira turned as red as her dress but tried to figure out what was going on.

They were seated at a luxurious and long silver table that glinted in the light. The chairs were a soft blue that reminded Keira of a riobeen’s egg.

When did we get here? Keira winced and mentally face-palmed at the fact that she had zoned out again. Keira inhaled and exhaled slowly. Alright, just pay attention.

Tallulah smiled, eagerly conversing with her father. However, Rian acted curtly, merely nodding and humming in agreement.

“So the duke, council, and I have come up with a proposal to unite our kingdoms,” Tallulah smiled wide, her green eyes nearly glowing, “A political marriage! Between the prince and princess!” She clapped her hands together again, the sheer white sleeves of her dress streaming down. “As the prince is set to become king on his 25th birthday in three months, we’ll host the wedding in two.”

M-marriage? Keira felt anger at the fact that the duchess had even thought of such a thing, but her father interrupted.

Rian slammed his fist on the table.

“Is this some sort of joke?” He roared, as the Sapphire soldiers moved to stand. “No daughter of mine will marry a Wolfblood!” Their Ruby guards placed their hands over their weapons, and it was clear that a fight would break out soon.

“The mere thought of it! How dare you?” Her father continued, while Tallulah shrunk down in her seat. “How dare-”

    So first, a riobeen is a robin 😛 It’s a magical world
Tell me what you think is going to happen so I can see if I made it too obvious!

    Kit’s First Pain

    Chapter 5

Over the next few days Thornpaw started started back up her apprentice duties. Her neck wound was beginning to heal and she felt as if she was a cat of Lionclan.

Sadly Lionclan cats still have to do the dawn patrol. Thornpaw thought gloomily as the walked along the Windclan border. The sun felt warm along her back as she walked. She checked out some ferns and quickly retreated. Crow food!

“What is it?” Silversky, who was leading the patrol asked.

    “Crow food!” Thornpaw yowled.

“Crow food?” Lightstep asked, cocking his head and flicking his tail. “In some ferns? How did that happen?”

“It probably died in it and nobody has noticed it.” Came a rude tone from Darkfrost. “It’s not a big deal let’s go.”

Thornpaw saw her mentor looking at her suspiciously. Thornpaw flicked her tail and defiantly looked back at him. I’ll show you, you pile of fox dung. If her clanmates knew the words she thought she would probably be cleaning the elders den for a moon, instead of Parsleytail.

Thornpaw turned and took another sniff at the crow food. She felt like retching but she forced herself to sniff it more thoroughly. Windclan!

She stepped out of the ferns. “Windclan! It was Windclan!” She yowled. She barely got the words out of her mouth before she was thrown to the side.

Badgerpaw! “What are you doing?” She yowled angrily.

“Obviously we are being attacked you mouse-brain!” He hissed as he jumped off.

Thornpaw realized in shock that a cat had lunged for her, but not before Badgerpaw could whisk her out of the way. When will I get a break from fighting? She thought, annoyed.

“Thornpaw!” Someone yowled. Thornpaw turned to see it was Silversky. “Get back to camp and get reinforcements!” She stuttered before she was thrown back into battle.

Thornpaw turned tail and fled back towards camp. “Coward!” She heard someone yowl. She whipped around to see Darkfrost as she yowled to her daughter the hurtful words.

Thornpaw closed her eyes fiercely and continued her race back towards camp. Her blood was pounding in her ears and the wind ruffled her fur. She yowled in surprise and pain as her paw landed in a hole. She hissed angrily and pulled out her muddy paw. Despite the pain she continued her race.

She approached the thorn tunnel and ran through it. She ignored the thorns pricking her pelt and burst into camp. “Windclan is attacking!” She yowled.

“Where?” Yowled a stern voice, it was Fangstar. Thornpaw tried to reply but had to catch her breath. “Speak!” He yowled angrily.

“The border!” Thornpaw managed to force out with her lessened breath.

Fangstar, who was on the Highledge, flicked his tail and looked bravely towards his clan. “We must send a patrol to help the dawn patrol.” He yowled. Obviously. Now are we going to stand her all day or are we going to help them? Thornpaw thought rudely.

“Squirrelclaw, Stormwhisker, Willowshade, Thrushfur, Tigerlily, Snakeheart, and Hawkpaw will accompany Bramblestorm on the patrol.” Fangstar yowled loud and clear and retreated to his den. Too lazy to go yourself.

The named cats gathered around Bramblestorm. “We must go immediately.” Bramblestorm meowed hurriedly. The patrol followed him as he raced out into the forest.

“Good luck!” Thornpaw yowled as they raced out.

She sat down and watched Hawkpaw’s tail disappear through the thorn tunnel.

Her paw was muddy and throbbing from her trip on the hole. She looked down at it disgustedly. Barely three days back into training and I might not be able to continue! At this rate I will be a 15 moon old apprentice!

“Thornpaw.” A voice asked timidly. Thornpaw looked to see Flameflower and Amberpaw padding slowly towards her. The cat who had spoken was Flameflower.

“Yes?” Thornpaw guessed they had come about her paw. Why is Flameflower being cautious around me?

“We saw your paw. Would you like us to check it?” It was Amberpaw who spoke. The small tortoiseshell was almost as big as her mentor now. She was apprenticed before I was born. Shouldn’t she have her Medicine Cat name by now?

“Oh, yes yes of course.” Thornpaw mewed awkwardly, holding up her paw.

“Okay, Amberpaw, what do you do first?” Flameflower coached.

Amberpaw examined the paw. “Be right back.” She turned tail and raced back towards the medicine cat den with her tail high in the air. When she returned she had a ball of wet moss in her jaws. She gently dabbed it at Thornpaw’s paw, cleaning the mud off.

“Nice thinking.” Flameflower praised. “It looks like Thornpaw just twisted it. I don’t see any sign of sprain or a break.”

“Well what do we do to fix it?” Amberpaw asked.

“Are you kidding me?” Flameflower hissed. “You have been my apprentice longer than Thornpaw has been alive! Don’t you remember when Lightstep twisted his paw?”

Amberpaw cast her eyes downward. “Yes… but why can’t I ask you if I forget?” She mewed quietly. Because one day Flameflower won’t be here to help you. Thornpaw thought.

“Because if you want to be medicine cat you must learn this!” Flameflower retorted.

“I do want to be medicine cat but look! I am still Amberpaw. Like you said I have been an apprentice longer than Thornpaw has been alive! When will I get my medicine cat name!” She yowled.

The cats who weren’t on hunting patrol or hadn’t gone to the fight were starting to gather around to find out what the problem was.

Flameflower seemed to notice this as she meowed. “Let’s finish this in our den. We don’t need a crowd.” They padded away towards their den. As soon as they passed the entrance Thornpaw heard them furiously hissing at each other.

Well if one of them gets injured at least she can heal herself. Or the other can heal them. If they aren’t fighting. Thornpaw thought uneasily.

She placed her paw down and stood up. She yowled in pain as she put weight on her injured paw. She turned and looked over towards the medicine cat den. “You mouse brains forgot to fix my twisted paw!” She yowled at them angrily.

She heard an angry yowl from the warriors den. “Keep it down I’m trying to sleep here.” It was Mossyfur.

“Mossyfur… don’t you know that Thrushfur is in a border clash with Windclan?” Thornpaw asked. She was worried if Mossyfur had heard or not. Since the two were mates she wanted to make sure Mossyfur knew what was happening.

“He is what?” Mossyfur shot out of her nest her amber eyes flickering with alarm.

“Windclan attacked. He was sent out on the second patrol to go fight them off.” Thornpaw replied, wary of Mossyfur.

“But… no!” She yowled. “He could be killed!”

“He is a trained warrior.” Thornpaw insisted. “He will be fine.”

“But he won’t! I have to go to him! Protect him!” She wailed.

Thornpaw recoiled. Mates were always worried about each other when the other went into battle, but never this much. “What is wrong?” Thornpaw asked.

“I’m expecting his kits!” Mossyfur wailed. “He is sick! He isn’t at full strength! He could die! My kits would be fatherless!” Her eyes went downcast in despair.

Thornpaw was surprised. But it made sense of why she seemed to be looking more plump. “But you are expecting kits. You can’t go fight right now.” Thornpaw soothed. “He will be fine.” I should probably put her mind at ease though.

Thornpaw looked over her shoulder. “Foxfeather, will you join the battle and help Thrushfur?” Thornpaw asked him.

“Please!” Mossyfur wailed. Thornpaw touched her shoulder with the tip of her tail, letting her know to let Thornpaw do the talking.

“Of course.” Foxfeather said with a nod. Then the dark ginger tom bounded out of camp.

    “Thank you.” Mossyfur said wearily.

“You should head towards the nursery.” Thornpaw told her. The tortoiseshell she-cat padded softly towards the nursery silently.

Thornpaw turned to her crowd. “Pebblewhisker-” She started.

“I will inform Fangstar about the situation.” Thornpaw purred as her father bounded up the rocks up to Fangstar’s den.

“I suppose someone should also inform the medicine cats?” Thornpaw asked. She didn’t really want to do it herself.

“I’ll do it.” Greenleaf said calmly and padded towards the medicine cat den.

Thornpaw took a deep breath. Her paw kept twitching and throbbing uncomfortably and she was fox dung tired of it. But she didn’t dare go into the medicine cat den. Something told her she shouldn’t.

“I know what you need.” Thornpaw jumped at the sound of Cindermoon.

“Wha- what do you mean?” Thornpaw asked.

“I know what herbs you need for your paw.” Cindermoon replied smoothly.

“How? I mean no warrior knows what herbs are used for what. I mean sure they may pick up a few things…” Thornpaw replied confusedly.

“I once trained to be a medicine cat… I just realized where my talent lie.” Cindermoon replied softly.

“So what do I need?” Thornpaw asked.

“I would suggest comfrey, stinging nettle, and thyme. Comfrey is used to mend broken bones but I bet it would work for a twisted paw. Stinging nettle is used to bring down swelling, I guess you can see why you should use it. And thyme helps with anxiety and frayed nerves. Both you and Mossyfur can use it.” Cindermoon finished.

“Where can I find some?” Thornpaw asked.

“I can go grab them if you like.” She suggested. “Flameflower has plenty.” Before Thornpaw could reply she padded of towards the medicine cat den with her trail waving in the air.

A few moments later she returned with the herbs, along with some cobwebs. “Here. Let me do this for you. It is kind of complicated with one paw.”

Cindermoon spread out the cobwebs on the ground. She places some stinging nettles onto it. Afterwards she chewed the comfrey into a poultice and spit it out on top of the nettles. She also grabbed two leaves of thyme and chewed them into a poultice and places it as well onto the comfrey.

“Place your paw on half of it.” Cindermoon instructed. Thornpaw did as she was told. Cindermoon then picked up the other half and placed it on top of Thornpaw’s paw. “Pick your paw up slightly.” Thornpaw did as Cindermoon asked.

Cindermoon began wrapping Thornpaw’s paw with even more cobwebs to keep it in place. By the time she was finished Thornpaw’s paw looked twice its size. Cindermoon pushed a few thyme leaves towards her. “Eat these. I will give the rest to Mossyfur.” She rushed off towards the nursery with the rest of the thyme in her jaws.

Thornpaw ate the thyme gratefully. I’ve never seen this technique before. It is very creative and works pretty well. Why did she give up being a medicine cat if she was this good?

It felt like moons before Thornpaw heard pawsteps in the thorn tunnel. She started to panic when she only saw Hawkpaw coming through. “They brought more warriors! We need even more reinforcements!” He yowled.

Thornpaw looked up to the Highledge. Fangstar was drowsily padded out of his den onto the Highledge. He must have been taking a nap. Pebblewhisker came out with him. He looked like he wanted to call his leader a mousebrained pile of fox dung.

“Alright.” Fangstar yowled. “Pebblewhisker, Snowstorm, Smoketail, Ivypaw, and Foxfeather. You all go fight. Longshadow, Cindermoon and Sunwhisper, you go collect our injured. Flameflower, get ready to treat our injured.”

“Shouldn’t you send out a hunting patrol. Everyone will be hungry when they get back!” It was Greenleaf.

Fangstar snorted in agitation. “Fine, you, Eagleheart, Rainflame, and Thornpaw go hunt.”

“Should someone guard camp?” It was Nightbreeze this time.

Fangstar seemed on the break unsheathe his claws. “Mossyfur, me, Flameflower and Amberpaw are here. We have most of our Warriors out there fighting. We should be safe.” And with that, he flicked his tail and padded back to his den.

Everyone started to separate to their different duties. Hawkpaw padded up to Thornpaw. He had a gash on his neck and the fur around it was matted with blood. Along his other flanks was another terrible gash. The rest of him was covered in small scratches. “Hey are you okay?” He asked. “What happened to your paw?”

“When I was pelting back to camp my paw discovered a hole a wanting to check it out.” She mewed.

Hawkpaw purred. “Seems like Flameflower did a good job wrapping it up.”

Thornpaw looked at him for a moment. “Cindermoon did it.”

“Cindermoon?” Hawkpaw looked surprised. “But she is a warrior. Not a medicine cat.”

“She originally trained to be a medicine cat. Before she chose to be a warrior.” Thornpaw explain calmly.

    “Uh-huh.” Hawkpaw replied sensibly.

“Hawkpaw get in here you mouse brain! Thornpaw shouldn’t you be hunting?” Amberpaw called.

Thornpaw turned to Hawkpaw. She licked his ear lovingly. “See you soon.”

She then turned and padded off to join her patrol.

    . . .

Thornpaw padded slowly towards the mouse in her hunter’s crouch. She didn’t dare unsheathe her claws. She was afraid it would break open her herb wrap.

Thornpaw breathed in the mouse’s scent, and her stomach growled softly. She padded forward slightly.

She gathered her haunches and sprang. Her sheathed claws landed squarely on the mouse.

Her paw screeched in agony. Thornpaw held in her yowl of pain and nipped the mouse swiftly on the neck.

She moved her front paws onto the soft forest floor. Thornpaw’s head was facing the ground in agony. She didn’t feel she had the strength to even yowl in pain. Pile of mouse dung Fangstar sent me on a hunting patrol with a twisted paw.

“Maybe you should just sit back.” It was Greenleaf. She was padding softly towards Thornpaw with a thrush in her mouth. She placed it down as she talked. “You don’t want to injure yourself any more.”

The tortoiseshell she-cat sat down and started to lick her paw gently. She’s so… aggravating. Thornpaw thought, frustrated.

“You don’t.” This time Rainflame was the one to pad up to her.

“I’m not weak you know.” Thornpaw told him with a glare.

“They never said you were. Maybe this is about being frustrated you’re not part of the battle?” Eagleheart padded up.

“Okay so are any of us hunting now? Or are we going to give me a hope speech until we get back to camp?” Thornpaw meowed with a hint of frustration.

“You just sit here, okay?” Rainflame decided with a flick of his gray tail.

Thornpaw hissed in frustration but obeyed. She watched them all pad away to go hunt. She picked up her mouse and sat down with it. She wanted to desperately eat it but didn’t dare.

Her paw was throbbing painfully but she hardly noticed it. I wonder how Thrushfur is? Is Foxfeather protecting him like he promised?

Thornpaw sighed. She closed her eyes and angled her head towards the sky. She felt the wind ruffling her fur, it sent a chill down her spine.

She opened her eyes and looked down. My clan is fighting right now. And I injured myself running. What is my problem?

As more pain shot from her paw Thornpaw clenched her jaw. When will I get a break?

    . . .

As Thornpaw padded back into camp with her mouse in her jaws she saw Hawkpaw running towards her. She placed it down and turned to him.

“What is it Hawkpaw?” She asked and flicked her tail.

“Can’t you see everyone is back?” Hawkpaw asked her in a worried tone.

Thornpaw jerked herself out of her fatigue. She looked around and saw injured cats scattered around the place. Amberpaw, Flameflower, and Cindermoon were all frantically trying to help them.

“Are they all okay?” Thornpaw asked with a heavy heart.

“We hope.” Snowstorm mewed as he limped towards Thornpaw.

Hawkpaw’s eyes flashed with alarm and he wrapped his tail around Thornpaw’s shoulders. Mouse dung. Thornpaw thought. Something happened.

“We are worried about Ivypaw.” Snowstorm mewed reluctantly.

“Where is she!” Thornpaw yowled. She felt the eyes of her clanmates on her.

    “Flameflower’s den.” Snowstorm replied.

Thornpaw pelted forward and slid into Flameflower’s den, almost wrecking the herbs she had out. Ivypaw was in a soft nest in the side of the den. She was suffering from and slash in her flank, much worse than what Hawkpaw had. Thornpaw could hardly see it under all the marigold and cobweb.

Thornpaw slowly padded up to her sister, her head and tail drooping. She sniffed her sister uncertainly, and she started to stir.

“Thornpaw!” Her sister yowled in surprise.

“Don’t worry. It’s just me.” Thornpaw mewed soothingly.

    “Go away.” Her sister huffed.

Thornpaw looked at her sister, sorrow in her eyes. “Why?”

Ivypaw turned towards Thornpaw, hatred in her eyes. “Why?” She stammered. “I might die. This wouldn’t have happened if I had Darkstorm to train me. To have someone actually help me with my talents. To actually train me. Other than my sorry excuse for a mentor.” She hissed angrily.

Thornpaw closed her eyes and sighed. She turned and padded slowly out of the den. How am I expected to fix this?

The second of my Christmas Stories. This one’s a short one. Version of O Come I suggest for this one is Pentatonix’s version.
    Faithful, O Come All Ye

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
The Jedi, keepers of peace, are preparing for their annual Christmas party.
However, all is not as it seems, despite the joyous atmosphere, as a new darkness closes in…

“Master, how many more times am I going to have to rearrange the Nativity scene?” a young adult Anakin Skywalker groans to his friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi. For the fiftieth time, Anakin moves Baby Jesus, this time, completely away from the rest of the pieces.

Obi-Wan raises an eyebrow at Anakin’s handiwork, clearly not amused. “You will continue to rearrange it as many times as you must in order to make Master Yoda happy. Now, not another word from you or you will not be going to the Christmas party,” the older man warns. He turns back to the Christmas tree he is currently decorating.

Anakin grunts, but makes no other sound as he returns to his Nativity scene. He places Baby Jesus where the figurine is meant to be. “I don’t even wanna go to the stupid Christmas party anyway. Yoda ruins the Christmas carols,” he grumbles to himself, though a grin spreads on his face at the remembrance of last year’s Christmas party disaster.

“Caroling, we must go! Spread good cheer, we must!” Yoda had announced, each word punctuated with determination.

Groans popcorned throughout the Jedi Temple. No one ever wanted to go caroling with Yoda. “I swear to the Force, if we sing “Merry Gentlemen, God Rest Ye” one more time, this lightsaber is going through your head,” Mace Windu, one of the senior Jedi Council members growled in annoyance.

“Path to the Dark Side, anger is, Master Windu,” Yoda reminded the Jedi before clapping his hands together. “Dawdle, we must not. Dark, it will get.”

Anakin shakes his head to clear away the memories. “As long as we don’t have to go caroling again, our Christmas parties actually aren’t half bad…” he mutters to himself, his stomach growling at the thought of the meal that all the Jedi would indulge in.

Within moments, the Jedi Temple erupts with a multitude of partygoers. A whiff of freshly baked deserts hits Anakin’s nose and he longs to sneak a couple of cookies. Master Obi-Wan would kill me if I did that, he reminds himself darkly.

“Before it gets dark, caroling we must go!” Yoda’s distinctive voice rings above the chatter of the other Jedi.

“Fine, but this time, I lead the caroling,” Mace Windu says, glaring at the other Jedi Master.

“Lead the carols, you will, Master Windu,” Yoda agrees in submission.

And that is how the entire Jedi Council, plus Anakin and a few other Padawans found themselves in the local Elders’ Home, with Yoda caterwauling “Faithful, Oh Come All Ye.”

    This is real love.

Last bit of Kit’s First Pain. Ready for the epic climax?

    Kit’s First Pain

    Chapter 6

Thornpaw closed her eyes. All her muscles we tense. She didn’t know why. Her paw was throbbing still. But not as horribly as when she first injured it. She was trying to sleep. She didn’t eat at all the rest of that day. Although she was terribly hungry she didn’t feel she could eat anything.

I was useless today. I don’t deserve to eat anyways.

It was cold in the apprentice den. Maybe it was because Ivypaw and Badgerpaw

Amazing right? Such description, action, and emotion. Perfect ending to a FanFic like this. The half sentence at the end is what really chokes me up…

    All jokes aside… I can’t believe that I didn’t even bother to finish a sentence omc. 😛

So, this last thing is something else I wrote around this time. I don’t remember writing it, but I remember what sort of concept it had and I remembered it as I read it. It’s cringy, but interesting(if you knew where I was going with it 😛 )

Zythe (Idk but this was the title so?)

Chapter 2 (I’m just as confused as you are.)

Luna lay in her warm bed, trying to block out the noise. She wanted to tell her parents to turn their show down. But she didn’t think she should for some reason. They never stay up this late watching TV. She thought.

Her headache was growing with each minute. Why are they so loud tonight? She covered her head with her blanket and groaned.

She heard another loud sigh. Something poked her foot. “Owe” Luna huffed. She sat up abruptly.

“Arrow quit it. I’m trying to sleep just as much as you.” She snapped.

Arrow was Luna’s dog. He was a Doberman Pinscher. He was black and tan and had a bit of attitude whenever he felt he needed it. Luna had specifically made sure he had a natural tail and ears when she go him. She hated cropped ears and docked tails.

Arrow stood up and sat at Luna’s door wagging his tail madly. “Really? This late? You know I have to get fully dressed to go outside.” She complained.

Reluctantly she sat up and pulled herself out of bed. Her parents never wanted her to leave the house without putting clothes on first. It was annoying, but Luna didn’t really mind, unless she was almost asleep and her dog had to pee.

She quickly grabbed one of her black shirts. It was made out soft material, with lace on top. It went half way down her hips. With it she grabbed some thin sweatpants. She then put on her black socks, with her black slip on sneakers.

Last but not least she reached for her black jacket. It was simple, but had everything she needed. Chapstick, red lipstick, black eye shadow, and a milk chocolate candy bar, it was all in a zipped pocket in her beloved jacket.

She quickly pulled it on and zipped it up. It would be chilly outside, due to it being October. She pulled her hood on and grabbed Arrow’s leash.

It was thick black leather leash, perfect for her large dog. She clipped it onto his thick black leather collar.

Arrow sat down as she made sure it was clipped on good. Then she opened the door and he padded slowly out.

Luna quietly walked down the stairs, careful not to make the wood creak. Although Arrow wasn’t as cautious. His overly big paws stepped on a board which Luna knew creaked the loudest.

It creaked slowly but loudly. She looked at her dog. “Are you kidding me?” She whispered. The dog looked back at her with a goofy grin. Luna groaned and continued walking down the stairs.

They soon made it to the bottom and tiptoed to the front door. She opened it slowly and whispered. “Let’s hurry.”

So yeah. What I remember is her “parents” downstairs aren’t actually her parents 😛 And uhh something probably to do with aliens or something honestly. 😛 Obviously I can’t use the dog, Arrow. Because… Survivors… And I most definitely copied. 😛 The main character was based off of me. No clue why her name is Luna though 😛 Maybe I’ll fit something with this sort of feel(or the feel it was supposed to have) into some original writing later.

    But yeah.

That’s it for our cringe journey. 😛 Hope you had fun entering the mind of 11 year old Blue. 😛

So I originally posted this story to wattpad. I’ll put a link in every chapter for the next part, but I haven’t finished the allegiances yet.

    Book 1; broken clan.

A sand coloured tom stared at the group of cats surrounding him. “We need to discuss the prophecy cat.” He explained.
A black and white she-cat rolled her eyes. “Of course the prophecy is for thunderclan. No other clan can have special prophecy cats.” Although her words and actions were sarcastic, she said it in a friendly tone.
“Kitefur, you know as well as I do that thunderclan will need it most. Plus, shadowclan is a stronger clan since hollowstar, and then his mate, ravenstar, became leader.” A silver she-cat padded out from behind the sandy tom and stopped next to them. “They don’t need a prophecy cat because they’re strong enough on their own.”
Kitefur sighed happily. “My daughter is doing quite a bit better than I expected. I thought shadowclan would treat her like they did rowanstar by now.” The starclan cats all smiled and chuckled to themselves.
“Well anyway, we need to work out who the prophecy cat is. The prophecy only stated a she-cat with ginger will help thunderclan. I think it’s Willowstar.” The sandy tom told them. “She has a tiny splotch of ginger above her nose.”
“Well, eaglestar, I think it’s your granddaughter, adderpaw.” The silver tabby spoke.
“Oh, she’s your granddaughter too, featherdust.” The sandy tom retorted with a chuckle.
“What if it’s aspenkit?” Kitefur looked thoughtful. “She’s almost an apprentice now, and she seems like the best choice so far.”
The cats fell silent for a bit, pondering over their idea. After a while, eaglestar stood up, and flicked his tail. “I’ll go discuss it with birchfrost. If he’ll speak at all.”
Featherdust nodded sadly. “He hardly ever speaks, now he has joined us in starclan.”
Kitefur flickered her gaze between the two cats. “He was murdered by his brother who lied about his final words so he could be leader.” She reminded them. “I would be upset too.” With kitefur’s last words, all three of the cats stalked off, the group of onlookers around them disbanding, to go and rest or hunt, or even play.
