Rules:

– Accuse anyone anytime
– You can only accuse once–one wrong accusation and you’re out of the game. 
– If you accuse incorrectly, the condemned innocent will give you a clue before storming out of camp. 
– All accused cats will be exiled, however innocents will magically teleport back the next round. 

Oh no! Specklepaw has been found dead!

Clues:
– Specklepaw was found at the bottom of the cliff.
– Her neck was snapped and many bones were broken, but there were a few claw marks in her back.
– The body was found in the morning by Foxeye.
– No one visibly disliked Specklepaw. 
– Blazefoot, Yellowreed, and Willowslash were guarding the camp.
– Both Snowpaw and Brightpaw had a neutral relationship with their sister. 
– Willowslash never saw anyone leave camp.
– Specklepaw was on a solo hunting assessment.
– The mentors were assessing their apprentices: Brightpaw was sent into the oak forest, Bubblepaw toward the lake, Specklepaw toward the cliff, and Snowpaw toward the twisting pine forests.
– Ivynose said that Bloomshade sent Snowpaw into confusing, maybe even dangerous territory, and finds it strange that he would risk his apprentice’s life. 
– None of ReedClan went to the cliffs other than for hunting. 
– The body didn’t have much of a scent and was cold when found. 
– Bloomshade said that he sent Snowpaw into the twisting forests because he wanted to give her a challenge.
– Mistfire said she sent Specklepxaw into the cliffs because there was prey there. 
– Mistfire might have been watching Specklepaw near the cliffs during her assessment. 
– Thriftstar doesn’t think Mistfire is the murderer. 
– According to Stoneshadow, Specklepaw’s relationship with Mistfire was a normal mentor-apprentice relationship. 
– No one looked guilty or happy during Specklepaw’s vigil. 
– Bloomshade and Specklepaw never really interacted much. 
– There were no tufts of fur left behind.
– No one had white and ginger fur in their claws, and if they did, they washed it off.
– There are a few good bushes near the cliff edge. 
– Foxeye said that he went to the cliffs to stretch his legs
– Mistfire sensed that a third cat was at the cliffs. She thinks this is the murderer. 
– Foxeye had some fine battle skills, but wasn’t ambitious, according to Bumbleflight.
– Bloomshade might be jealous of Songbird, according to her. 
– Mistfire only sent Specklepaw toward the cliffs, according to her. 
– Snowpaw said that Bloomshade wanted her to be as good of a fighter as Songbird.
– Specklepaw didn’t get to land a blow on the killer, according to Mistfire, so that’s why there was no fur in her claws. 

Kestry: Snowpaw, how did Bloomshade treat you as a mentor?
Snowpaw: He was okay, I guess. But he was harsh, he kept on pressuring me to train to fight as great as Songbird, but I prefer hunting. 

Kestry: Mistifre, was there any fur in Specklepaw’s claws and what color was it?
Mistfire: No, I don’t think poor Specklepaw had a chance to even land a blow before she was killed. 

Even though this round is a murder mystery, not every round will be guaranteed to be one. All of them involve looking for someone responsible (not necessarily a traitor), though.  

Mystery in ReedClan – Round 1

Kestry was correct! The murderer was Bloomshade!

Bloomshade was jealous that his sister, Songbird, who was an exceptional fighter, received more admiration than him, and thinks he should have more credit because he was a great hunter during leaf-bare and ReedClan didn’t even enter battles that much as they are mainly peaceful. When Mistfire, Duskstorm, Ivynose, and he were sending out their apprentices for a hunting assessment, Bloomshade decided to send Snowpaw toward the twisting pine forests at the OwlClan border to throw her off so he can sneak off, find Songbird, and kill her. However, he mistook Specklepaw for Songbird and pushed her off the cliff.
