Just to make sure I know the difference between Ancient Names and Early Settler Names- Ancients had a verb, adjective, or something with a ‘s and then a noun. (Ex: Soaring Bird or Bird’s Feather) Early Settler names were basically Clan names broken up. (Ex: Wood Tail or Snow Leaf)
There isn’t really a difference, both groups have those names. For example:
Ancient Jay’s Wing, Dawn River
Early Settler Jackdaw’s Cry, Willow Tail
I still feel like the Ancient’s are real things that they see, while the Early Settler names (especially the second generation) don’t make as much sense.

Sweetfern’s actually currently a newborn kit, she’s a ginger and white tabby with pale green eyes.
Honeythorn and Ashmask are my two favourites.
I like Mallowdrop, Honeythorn, Lostbreeze and Wildwind.
I really like Rainwater, Rosefire, Cloudysky, Blackberry, and Wildfire! Petalfall is canon 🙂
