Hi Sandi! So for the article we’re planning… did you want to defend LeafXCrow or analyze TigerXDove?
Since I’m already doing a Leaf x Crow one, then it would be best to analyze Tiger x Dove.
Okay! Do you want to do the format where I attack and you defend? If so, I’ll go first.
Tigerheart fell in love with Dovepaw when she was 6 moons old and he was at least 20. Thats like a 19 year old falling in love with a 7 year old.
Many romances that are greatly developed like Dust x Fern happened when they were young. Dustpelt fell in love with her when she was an apprentice, and I think when she was a kit too. Okay, maybe that’s a little gross, but there are ships with HUGE age gaps(cough Leopardfoot and Pinestar cough). Besides, in Warriors, I don’t think there’s a big deal about age gaps. The only gross thing about it would be if an elder mated with a warrior.
Okay, I was getting off-topic. I’m going to do some simple math here. For Tigerheart, 20 moons is 1.67 years, so in human years that would be 20-23 years old. Looking at Dovewing, she was about 1/2 a year old, so that’s 15 in human years. That isn’t much of an age gap.
(Also, Shadeleap, how will we know when to get off the topic of age gaps? Just when we can’t say anymore?)
