Cool, we’ll have to make sure to get that in ! What should be like the start and end point of the story ?

Yessssss that sounds awesome !!! And perhaps to begin with when nothing is happening to Poppyleaf, Wildclaw kind of scoffs at StarClan, like Ha you tried to threaten me but nothing has gone wrong
and thens theres a battle and maybe Wildclaw runs to protect Acornbright even though Lionclaw is already helped her and Poppyleaf is killed
So far we have (this is just me trying to put some vague order together
Wildpaw meets Acorn for the first time and its like instant POW this is the cat for me
A StarClan cat visits him in his dreams, telling him that he had to choose between his dreams and his family or something like that
Wildpaw introduces Lionpaw to Acorn and the two grow closer.
They become warriors
Lionclaw brings Acorn into the clan and she becomes Acornbright, although is still required to have her warrior training, Lionclaw was determined that Acornbright deserved her warrior name right away
There is a battle and Wildclaw runs to protect Acornbright instead of his mother.
Poppyleaf dies (maybe we can add in something like either she tries to warn him that Acornbright doesn’t love him or something so he storms away not realising how badly injured she is, so she dies without him besides her)
He asks out Acornbright, who rejects him, telling him she only likes she cats and loves Lionclaw
Lionclaw and Acornbright get together
Wildclaw mopes. Wildclaw mopes a lot. You know woe me, glaring at Acornbright and Lionclaw, maybe he sees that Acornbright isn’t exactly the best warrior and begins to obsess over the fact that the clan leader isn’t doing a good enough job at running the clan and is too lax letting cats in
Wildclaw goes on patrol, Squirrelblaze and Darkfang maybe scent a fox or something idk but they yeet away 😛
Fox comes and is chasing Dewpaw who runs in another direction instead of heading where Fangpaw and Wildclaw are going.
Fangpaw begs Wildclaw to run and help as if Wildclaw attacks the fox it will be distracted enough to leave Dewpaw be, but Wildclaw refuses, kind of still thinking hes the only one good enough to run the clan and “save it ” from its eventual downfall that he believes will come from Sheepstone’s future weak leadership
After this I’m not quite sure how we get to the murder 😛 at least that’s a vague idea we have rn

Ok !! I’ll type a proper chapter plan right now because well……. I use them a lot 😛

Chapter 1 – Maple
Wildpaw is out hunting on his own, and he’s doing well. He notices a scent and begins to follow it. He spots a cat around his age chasing butterflies in the clearing. He goes to try and scare her off, but the cat just scrambles up a tree, and Wildpaw, with limited training in climbing can’t follow her. THey begin to talk and Wildpaw really loves talking to her. Eventually he heres other cats approach and tells Acorn to try and get away from the territory so they don’t hurt her. He walks back to camp, grabbing his prey on the way and settles down to sleep.

Chapter 2 – Monkey
StarClan cat visits him in his dreams and tries to tell him that he will have to choose between family and a blossoming love, and Wildpaw immediately knows that it is Acorn they are talking about, he can’t get her off his mind. Lionpaw wakes him up and jokes that he was mumbling about starclan and perhaps he should go and become a medicine cat. Wildpaw says that he actually was and Lionpaw doesn’t believe him. Wildpaw tells her there’s someone she should meet and the two make an excuse to sneak out of camp. They go and find Acorn in a similar place to before, make sure to include some sort of nervous smile or like ears going red or something from either Lionpaw or Acorn, kinda showing that at least one of them likes the other but kind of subtle. Wildpaw remembers he has his assessment today and has to go, leaving Lionclaw and Acorn together

Chapter 3 – Maple
Timeskip to warrior ceremony. Both WIldclaw and Lionclaw get their warrior names, and once the ceremony is over we need some sort of like… joke between them about how the leader must be getting really unimaginative. THey go out of their first patrol and see Acorn in the distance. THe patrol notices another cat scent and Wildclaw and Lionclaw have to try and cover up. They hang back, and Lionclaw excuses herself to go and make dirt, later returning and telling Wildclaw that Acorn is clear for now. They scent some foxes nearby and the warriors agree that the scent is tale but they should still report it. Lionclaw and Wildclaw stay out for a little longer, talking about how they either need to keep Acorn clear or bring her into the clan. WIldclaw wants to go and talk to her, but Lionclaw says that she is the firey one who disappears randomly, Wildclaw is not, so they agree that Lionclaw has to be the one to talk to Acorn.

Chapter 4 – Monkey
Wildclaw stirs to see Lionclaw standing in the centre of camp with Acorn by her side. He emerges from the den, and stands besides her, and the two try and convince the leader to let Acorn join. Intially it is agreed that she will become Acornpaw but Lionclaw keeps arguing until they agree that Acorn will join the clan as Acornbright. Wildclaw thinks about how this will mean he has a chance with Acornbright. Maybe say something about how oblivious to the love filled looks Lionclaw and Acornbright are giving each other. I hope you like writing dialogue rippp 😛

Chapter 5 – Maple
WIldclaw is out of patrol when they scent foxes. They follow the scent trail and it is heading right towards camp ! Racing there they find foxes everywhere !! Wildclaw notices his mother struggling and quickly jumps in to help her but then he catches Acornbright’s eye and she is looking terrified whilst Lionclaw fights in front of her. He goes to help her and eventually they chase off the foxes. Poppyleaf is incredibly wounded and Wildclaw goes to talk to her, and she asks him why he didn’t help her. he says he was helping acornbright and poppyleaf tries to warn him that Acornbright doesn’t love him but he storms off. Poppyleaf dies later that night.

CHapter 6 – Monkey
Wildclaw wanders off into the forest, going to grab some flowers. He is determined to find certain ones, and is quite nervous and jittery. He thinks back to his mothers death a little, missing her and regretting he hadn’t been with her when she died, but maybe a little frustrated her last words were trying to crush his hopes. Walking back to camp with flowers, he asks Acornbright to be his mate but she nervously rejects him. She tells him that she only likes she cats and is in love with Lionclaw. Later that day, we see Lionclaw and Acornbright sharing tongues. Wildclaw asks to speak to Lionclaw alone, and he asks her how she could do that to him, and Lionclaw says that she can’t hold back on being in love just because of him and that Acornbright would have never loved a tom anyway

Chapter 7- Maple
I’m going to improvise on this like wildclaw moping, glaring beginning to think he should be leader, being mean to Lionclaw probably a few time skips and stuff

Chapter 8- Monkey
More moping and being upset as before so like it feels more stretched out and like a never ending mood. Out on patrol with Squirrelblaze, Darkfang, Dewpaw and Fangpaw ! Hunting and helping the apprentices train, lots of varied things maybe like they do some practice ambush activities. Squirrelblaze and Darkfang scent a fox, so they head off whilst Wildclaw continues to help the apprentices patrol and train. Suddenly, they see a fox rushing towards them and we cut with a massive cliff hanger !!! Suspense, maybe like a storm going on around them like perhaps they start running.

Chapter 9 – Maple
Stuff with them running, Wildclaw calls Dewpaw and Fangpaw but only Fangpaw follows, Dewpaw runs the other way. Fangpaw tries to convince Wildclaw to go and help but he refuses telling Fangpaw to be quiet so the fox doesn’t get them. They have to watch helplessly as Dewpaw is killed. Squirrelblaze and Darkfang fight back the fox and then come and find Wildclaw and Fangpaw, they are shocked to find Dewpaw is dead. The whole clan mourns

Chapter 10 – Monkey
Plotting time !! You are definitely most qualified to work on this, basically Wildclaw plotting to kill Sheepstone, including maybe stuff about him being a relative of Lionclaw and how he hates her now !!! Just general things like that whatever you want to do with it. Maybe end with him about to kill Sheepstone !!!

Also, do you have a list of character descriptions I can use ???
What do the allegiances look like right at the start of the story, so whilst WIldclaw is still an apprentice ! Like who’s his mentor and things. I can work in death if needed !!!
