It’s Quiet UptownWelcome to my Piragua Guy discussion page! Since he’s my favorite In The Heights character, I thought having a discussion page for him would be a good idea. He’s not a very well known character, and I know that this page might end up being less of a discussion page, and more of a random page where I post reasons I like him. But I don’t mind!

This post credits scene is what helped me decide that Piragua Guy was my favorite In The Heights character! <3 Throughout the entire movie, I was seriously debating if he was my favorite, or if Usnavi was my favorite, but at the end of this post credits scene, I knew that Piragua Guy was 100 percent my favorite. <333333 (Usnavi did end up becoming my second favorite, though!)

Nightcloud DefenderI’m curious about Usnavi and Piragua Guy’s relationship. They clearly know each other, as they’re shown talking in the very first song, In The Heights. And in Finale, the last song, Piragua Guy is shown when Usnavi is thinking about who he’d be leaving behind if he left Washington Heights. So clearly their relationship is more than ‘we vaguely know each other.’ I think it would have been interesting to see more of that relationship.
