Hey all! It’s Russetfeather again with Gathering news!
Hello all! The Gathering is fast approaching, so it is time to begin preparations! If you have ever attended a Gathering before you have probably participated or even ran a guest-hosted contest.
If you haven’t, Guest-Hosted Contests are similar to the official contests held on the live chat: rounds of questions given to live chat with the first correct answer awarding points to the corresponding team of whoever gets the answer right.
There will be six guest-hosted contests and each slot will be 20 minutes long. If you would like to host one, please fill out the form below.

How do you suggest team names?
Just pop them in the comments section here or on the initial Summer Gathering announcement post.

I’m not Josh, but yes, I believe so.
If we just joined(or just got back on), do we still get to be on one of the teams? The only gathering I ever attended was the December 2014 one, and I remember that not everyone got a team…
I’m not Hazelburrow, but yes, of course! Anyone can come. 🙂 We’ll be sorting out teams soon, so keep an eye out! 🙂

I’m not Icy but yes. If you ask to be put on a team we will put you on one. Not everyone on the Allegiances is active so we ask in a post instead of going off the allegiances.

No. I along with other members of the BlogTeam will go through the submissions to pick out the six.
Moat likely we will choose the ones that are the most creative, but not overly complicated.
I don’t know when exactly but probably Thursday.
Also just so everyone knows, the Team will be hosting contests like NTA, Guess that Cat, and some sort of twenty questions so we will not be choosing hosted contests like that.

The teams will be decided later this week. And the games will be chosen based on creativity and ease of play.
