It’s time we talked about Frostfur!
So what do we know about Frostfur? Well, first let’s go over her story. Frostkit was born to Robinwing and Fuzzypelt along with her sister Brindlekit. She was later apprenticed to Bluefur(star). She received the warrior name Frostfur and later had four kits (Thornclaw, Brackenfur, Cinderpelt, and Brightheart) with Lionheart. As an elder, Frostfur was one of the cats that stayed behind when most others went on the Great Journey. She later joined StarClan.
Now that we’ve talked about Frostfur’s life, how was she important? Well, she was Bluefur(star)’s apprentice, which means that if she didn’t exist, Bluefur wouldn’t have been able to be deputy. Thistleclaw would probably get the role instead, and we all know how that would end. Badly. Frostfur was also mother to four very important cats. If Thornclaw didn’t exist, Stemleaf would never be born, and he was an important cat. If Brackenfur didn’t exist, neither would Honeyfern, Cinderheart, and Lilyheart. That would mean that Briarkit(light) would have been killed by the adder, Fernsong and Spotfur wouldn’t exist, and Twigkit(branch) wouldn’t be able to have a ThunderClan foster mother. Fernsong is Bristlefrost’s father, and Spotfur is very important. If Cinderpelt didn’t exist, Silverstream’s kits would have died along with their mother, and that would mean that Feathertail wouldn’t be able to save the Tribe of Rushing Water from Sharptooth. Finally, if Brightheart didn’t exist, neither would Whitewing. That means that Dovewing and Ivypool don’t exist, and they are very important. So, yeah! Frostfur is way more important than most of realize!
