    Winterfang was pleased with her position as deputy. She’d worked very hard for this. She wasn’t about to let Moonstar down! She saw her former apprentice, Eagle-eyes, taking the last few bites of a squirrel. “Eagle-eyes, could you lead a hunting patrol? The prey pile is getting low.”
    “Of course, Winterfang,” Eagle-eyes purred. “Should I bring anyone specific with me?”
    “You decide,” Winterfang told him. “But no more than two others. A large hunting patrol will just scare off the prey.”
    “Alright. I’ll keep that in mind.” Eagle-eyes padded off to find cats to join his patrol. Winterfang glanced around the camp. She saw Darkholly and approached the other warrior.
    “Darkholly, can you please lead the Sunhigh border patrol? Bring Lightfang, Windpaw, and Houndstep with you if they’re avaliable.”

    ~Eagle-eyes~
    Eagle-eyes approached Violetnight and Emberpaw. “Violetnight, Emberpaw, hi. Winterfang asked me to lead a hunting patrol, would you like to join it?” He hoped they’d say yes.

    (Whoever roleplays Darkholly, Lightfang, Windpaw, and Houndstep, roleplay Sunhigh border patrol please, or roleplay why your cat wouldn’t be able to go on the patrol)

  • Moonpath felt a tingle in her paws. Even though she had been a medicine cat for some time now, she still was always excited to sort out herbs. She could put her kittypet past behind her and just be a part of the Clan. She took a deep breath, and decided to memorize the herbs. Let’s just hope that nobody needs to be healed in the time I’m still learning.

      • Moonpath lifted her head up. “Ok,” she mewed. “I think I want to learn about herbs for healing, because you know about those wolves and snow leopards.” She snickered, and continued. “But I think I figured out that there’s an herb, horsetail, that helps with infection, and that cobwebs stop bleeding. I still need more herbs, but I can faintly remember my old twoleg reading a book about herbs and I remember a few things from that.”

        • “Hmm.” Snakefang tilted her head. “Could you understand what was in the twoleg book without it being read to you? Maybe we can find it and bring it back here.”

          • Moonpath snorted. “My twolegs don’t live in the mountains. Yes they live nearby the base of them, but they don’t live nearly close enough. I only way I got here was because I was lost and the Clan let me join them, since they needed a medicine cat. The only thing I can say to help is that their family is a man, his wife, and their twin daughter and son.” She sighed. “The boy would read this thing on an IPad and it had a list of herbs. He would list them off to me while he gave me a bath.” She realized that she remembered more than she first thought. That’s it! I know what I need to do! I remembered more of what he said!

              • “Ok Snakefang. I actually think you made me want to try to find my twolegs and get the book that his mother read. I’ll ask Moonstar if I can go to find the book. I was able to read as a kittypet, and I’ll bet I can still read now.” She walked over to Moonstar’s den and asked, “Moonstar, I need to ask you about something. Can we have a talk?”

There is a small rushing river near us, the elders sleep in a small cave, the apprentices sleep in a big tree that they can sleep in, the warriors den is a really big hole, and the nursery also is a big hole.
