Brokenmouse – He was named Mousekit at birth and was a very odd cat. He didn’t like hurting/killing prey and whenever he did, he apologized and said it was for the greater good. But as he watched his Clan hunt and kept killing off the supply of prey, or animals in his case, it broke his heart and one would do such a thing and vowed that he wouldn’t kill prey unless it was necessary (if he was starving). He would bring back small parcels of prey and tried to catch old squirrels and mice, thinking that he was doing them a favor by ending their life to stop the pain. He barely passed his final assessment since he failed many attempts to catch prey because he didn’t want to hurt the life and thought that nature must be cherished and must thrive. During his warrior ceremony, his leader would have named him Mouseheart – after his love for nature but also because he had such a small heart and cared more about nature and animals that should be prey instead of his own Clanmates – but he interrupted and said he’d like to be named Brokenmouse and stated that he’d like that name after the fact that it breaks his heart to see so many small creatures killed off while they (cats) thrive and that he would never touch a mouse (piece of prey) again. The whole Clan was very shocked at his and started yowling and arguing that they needed food to survive. But Brokenmouse snapped that why don’t they just go with Twolegs then if they want to survive? The Clan bristled and said that they are warriors and they will survive and that they don’t need gross soft kittypet food to sustain them. Brokenmouse lifted his nose and said so he it, and that it will always break his heart to see such innocent creatures being driven into the claws of death. And with those last words he left, the Clan staring after him in shock. He vowed that he would become a kittypet to preserve the life in the forest. And that the Clan didn’t need him. He was stupid and was very odd. The Clan could do without him and would survive better.

Oddnose – His mother wanted to name him Oddkit because she wanted him to be special and different from all other cats. But along with that, he was also a very odd shape and was very deformed. As an apprentice, he was either chasing after prey or battle training (or even fighting for real), idk one of those, and he ran/slammed into a tree and smashed his nose. From that day on, he was like Crookedstar/jaw but with a smashed crooked nose instead. This made him earn the name Oddnose as his warrior name.

Deadgaze – When he was born, he was very still and many cats thought he was stillborn. But his mother wanted him to have a name anyway so she ended up naming him Deadkit cause he looked dead. But later it was revealed that he wasn’t and so he grew up with the name Deadkit. But it actually suited him in some way cause he was a very strange tom. His eyes were cross eyed and he wobbled around a lot like he was a zombie. He had an unusually long apprenticeship as his mentor was trying to teach him to try and catch the prey, not take one step and fall on his face and yowl to the whole forest that he caught some leaves. Due to this, he ended up never becoming a warrior and so he ended up training as a medicine cat and barely succeeded. He received his full meddie name as Deadgaze because of his strange eyeballs and whenever he was in deep thought or was receiving a vision/prophecy from StarClan, his gaze would literally go dead and he would stare off creepily into the distance.

Firetail – He/she got his/her name from being caught on fire as an apprentice. While the apprentices were trying to escape, their den caught on fire and he/she ended up being caught on fire as well. Due to this, after the fire was past, the leader named him Firepaw after that incident and how the warriors had to toss him/her into the river to stop his/her fur from burning all the way off (yes he/she almost drowned that day too). He/she has patches of skin on his/her pelt because it got burned off and when he/she became a warrior, he/she received the warrior name of Firetail because her/his tail fur was literally all burned off.

Shellfoot – Shellfoot was originally names Creamkit when she was born but later was changed to Shellkit/paw because surprisingly, to the shock of all Clans, she was born without hair! Her mother and/or father names her this after the fact that her skin was shell-color and was smooth yet rough at some edges. She was born with very ugly paws as well. Shellfoot lives in RiverClan (or some Clan by water) and every day a patrol is sent out to collect shells. She has been known to be very clumsy and sensitive and ever since she was kitted, she always tripped and stubbed her feet/toes on the shells. Whenever she collected some, she’d trip and scatter them everywhere where she’d have to go and collect them all over again. But the routine would repeat and she would always come back to camp empty-pawed except for maybe one shell. Due to this, her leader named her Shellfoot after her clumsiness (clumsy footing) and that being hairless can cause sharp shells to rip skin easier, especially on her legs. Her paws are also said to look like deformed shells which was why she stumbled whenever she walks over the smallest things.

And that’s how all those cats got their names! 😝 I probably did that wrong though, lol. They probably weren’t that funny either but oh well I tried my best to make it both funny, strange and realistic. 😛
