    Story -
In a future where both Pyrrhian and Pantalan dragons alike live in peace and harmony, all of that changes when the SkyWing queen named Rowan and her assistants Cypress and Thrift have selected random dragons from all 10 of the tribes to participate in Rowan’s challenge. Why did Queen Rowan do this? Well, Queen Rowan offered her idea of a contest between all of the tribes to the other rulers, to which they heavily declined accept for the IceWings, surprisingly. Overcome with bitterness and rage, Queen Rowan decided that she would make her contest happen, whether the other tribes liked it or not.

Cypress, who was sent to Queen Rowan by the IceWings, helped her conceive their plan by experimenting with the possibility of creating a new realm for the trials to take place. However, Cypress’ magic was not strong enough to fully complete their plan. They were forced to stop their progress until they met Thrift, a young five year old SilkWing animus dragon who’s magic was more irrational, wild, and unpredictable. Queen Rowan didn’t want to waste time; they quickly went back to work with Thrift helping them, unknowing to what was happening around her. After two more years, the trials were complete.

Queen Rowan ordered Cypress and Thrift to use their magic to gather random dragons from all 10 tribes to fight in her little game. To sweeten the deal, she offered to give the dragons unlimited power, treasure, and their own animus magic if they won against all of the trials, all the while surviving every single obstacle and challenge she could think of. What were these challenges called?

    The Rite of Passage.

    Rules -
    1. Only roleplay and control your characters! This includes deciding the outcomes of your actions as well.

    2. Be polite to other roleplayers, it’s nice to be respected.

    3. Don’t take it personally when another person’s character attacks yours, it’s just them trying to have fun with their character!

    4. No roleplaying if your character hasn’t been approved.

    5. Romance between characters can happen, please, just PLEASE keep it PG.

    6. When having a conversation/interaction between two or more characters, please reply each other’s posts. That keeps the page much more tidy.

    7. There won’t be any naturally born animi (or animuses? Idek) in this roleplay at all, due to Cypress and Thrift existing and the fact that the animi magic won’t happen until later in the roleplay.

    8. For the sake of Hazelholly’s sanity, you can only make up characters that a dragons and are part of one of the 10 canon tribes. (In other words, you can only make characters part of the MudWing, NightWing, IceWing, RainWing, SandWing, SeaWing, SkyWing, HiveWing, SilkWing, and LeafWing tribes, not fan-made ones.)

    9. Although you might want to immediately make a NightWing character with mind-reading powers and/or prophetic sight, a flamesilk SilkWing, or a MudWing hatched from a blood red egg, that’s not how it works. I will only have very few spots open for characters with special abilities that are rare to their dragon type, because they are meant to be rare. If two people post at the same time for a flamesilk character and the rest of the spots (assuming there are more than one spots) are closed, I will simply check the timestamp and give the flamesilk to the person who commented earlier.

    10. If you have a hybrid character, just don’t make them extremely OP…please give them physical flaws, as they’re hybrids.

    11. Dragons can and will die. Inactivity also kills… 😛

    12. If you have a mind-reading character, don’t make up thoughts for your dragon to hear…if someone’s character actually thought something, then you may have your character hear it. Breaking this rule also breaks rule one, as it’s technically a form of controlling someone else’s character. Also, a prophetic character might be wrong when predicting futures. You have been warned. 😛

    13. There is no character limit You think I’m going to restrict myself with only 10 characters?!?!

    Death -
Yes. Your characters can and will die. 😛 If you do something that might kill your character I’ll warn you, but ultimately it’s up to you if they die or not. However, I won’t revive a character because that’s literally impossible in the canon series so choose which characters you purge wisely… 😛

Why did your character(s) take up the Rite of Passage -
This really should be in your character sheet, but whatever. Basically why your character took up Queen Rowan’s offer. It can be a selfless reason or a selfish reason, doesn’t matter which as long as it’s a reason nothenless.

    Trials -
While the first one is still in development, these are going to be like challenges that your characters have to face, and they’ll be completely random. They can be either physical, mental, or emotional challenges for your characters, and I don’t know how to explain from here without spoiling the trials I had in mind 😛

TL;DR, think of it as a WOF version of Maple’s The Tests but not really when you think about it for easier explanation 😛

And that’s all you really need to know, so head on over to the character creation page to create a character or two (or ten) or the combined questions and discussions page!
