CHAPTER 42 WAS AMAZING!!!
I really loved the kissing scene and the description and emotion involved and am mentally screaming at the top of my lungs now that Team Foster-Keefe is CANON! <333 I would've reread it a billion times if I could. 😍

It is 12:31 AM, or basically mid-midnight right now where I live. I just finished the book. And I am now MENTALLY YELLING AT SHANNON FOR DOING THE CLIFFHANGER THING AGAIN!!!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I agree – it was one of the worst yet. I mean, who is Elysian? WHAT??? How did she control everyone’s abilities??? Alas, we’ll have to wait a year to find out…
I miss Vespera. I’m really sad she died, even though she was supposed to be evil.
I agree – although Gisela’s unfathomable cruelty in doing so makes her an even more evil villain.
Yeah, I kind of do too. I don’t really like her as a character, but she’s probably one of my favorite villains.
yeah… It’s kinda going to be weird not having her in the books anymore :/
I read Stellarlune, and while I enjoyed it, I have to say it felt like it could have been a lot shorter 😛 for a 700+ page book, not that much happened.
Very true, though part of the uniqueness of Keeper of the Lost Cities books is in their dense (I couldn’t find a better word 😛) yet interesting plots, with lots of discussion and contemplation between characters. It’s part of why some people love and others hate them. 😛
It’s part of why I love them so much. I love long books, the longer the better.
Stellarlune wasn’t my favorite in the series, but it was at the same time.
Some thoughts:
-Where did Ro go? What happened to her? Is she okay??
-That was a lot of pages of not much happening tbh
-CHAPTER 42. I DO NOT NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF.
-Okay wait. Vespara’s… dead? I can’t even wrap my brain around it
-GISELA’S A MURDERER
-The third step to stellarlune does not sound like something I want to happen. No, Keefe does not need it, Sophie. From what I understand, it’ll basically give Gisela power to control him or something like that
-Gisela does not deserve her “Lady” title. From now on, we must only refer to her as Gisela, not Lady Gisela.
-Sadly, not much in relation to Tiana happened, except when they split into groups and Tam went with Biana
-Rayni??
-Trix sounded nice when Rayni was talking about him, but of course he had to go ruin my dreams of most people in the Neverseen actually not being evil
-Keefe is okay!
-I think we all need a Mind Map like Oralie sometimes
-These little thoughtnotes are not in any kind of rational order by the way
-Though seriously, WHERE IS RO?? Why is no one talking about this?
The lack of Tiana was sad, but the amount of Sokeefe helped with that ❤ I also really want to find out more about Trix and Umber’s relationship now that it’s confirmed they had one, idk why. And AAAHHHHH the end was SO CONFUSING.
I just realized I didn’t even MENTION Elysian. So she’s… what? A villain? Is she going to help Sophie’s gang somehow? A protector of the hidden elements? Who knows. How did Gisela mix up the person Elysian with the place? I mean, I understand how Sophie mixes them up, but Gisela? Really? And was I the only one who had to look up Elysian fields? It’s basically heaven, but for the Ancient Greeks.
