Backstory: Lilybriar was born to Goldenblaze and Waxnose, alongside her sister, Daffodilpelt. When Lilybriar was a kit, she took a liking to a kit from another litter, Kestralkit. Lilykit and Kestrelkit played together constantly, and when the time for them to be made apprentices came, they were nothing short of overjoyed. Lilypaw was apprenticed to Crowstream, Daffodilpaw to Bluestripe, and Kestrelpaw to Otterberry. They all trained as hard as they could, passing their assessments with flying colours. They all earned their warrior names, Lilybriar, Daffodilpelt, and Kestralfang. At their first Gathering as warriors, Lilybriar met Murkwhisker, a tom from another Clan, and fell in love with him. Kestralfang, unbeknownst to Lilybriar, had feelings for her. He was greatly jealous of the two when they became mates. Kestralfang also knew something about Murkwhisker that Lilybriar didn’t. Murkwhisker was his older brother, who had tried to kill Barkstar, and who was plotting to kill Lilybriar. When the Great War (if that’s able to happen, it’s just two Clans at war) happened, Dafdodilpelt met Murkwhisker in battle. Kestrelfang had told her what to do, and struck a fatal blow, ending the warrior’s life, but at the cost of her own. Lilybriar was furious, but when Kestrelfang explained why her sister had killed her mate, Lilybriar thanked Kestrelfang, and he asked her to be his mate. She said yes, and the two lived happily together. Lilybriar and her mate are both reformers, doing it in honor of Daffodipelt, who gave her life to save Lilybriar and Barkstar, but also to help the Clans change. She is currently mentoring Sweetpaw, but is in the nursery with Kestrelfang’s kits, while Sweetpaw is in the medicine den with an injured leg.
