Alright so let’s cover the plot and story line for my role play, The Tests
If you have no idea what’s going on here then just ask, you’ve probably come across this page accidentally.

Story :

Every cat wants a chance to be something more. Every cat wants to escape their lives and become great, become something that other cats evny. The great god Harnor has given a lucky few cats a chance to become gods, if they pass the tests. These tests can be fatal but some cats are willing to take the risk, will you ?

Rules :

1 . Make sure that you don’t control other characters and don’t decide to outcome of your actions, here is an example
DON’T. Bob : Bob attacked Barry and Barry fell to the ground a humongous gash on his flank, the attack that Barry sent back was feeble and missed Bob completely

DO Bob : Bob slashed his claws out at Barry hoping to put a gash down his flank
Barry : Bob’s claws scratched his pelt leaving a long shallow cut down his side and Barry leapt back at Bob, aiming to bite his neck

2. Try and at least put some description in your Roleplay posts

3. Be polite, no swearing please and no being mean to other people roleplaying

4. If someone’s character attacks you then please don’t take it personally, they just want to play with their character and have fun it’s nothing personal against you

5. Romance between characters is fine but just…..umm how do I put this…….. keep it PG kids….

Extra Story + Rules

At one point in the story you will all gain powers and you powers will start very weak, but to improve them you will need to draw, write a story or do a certain number of Roleplay posts about a set theme

Here are the powers

Ice and Time

Level 1 – You can make small patches of ice appear around your paws and you seem to be able to cope with colder temperatures. You can see quick snaps of the future and past at random times

Level 2 – You can make a small ice rink appear around your paws and small harmless ice spikes appear near you, you can cope with colder temperatures. You can look a day into the future and at any point in the past.

Level 3 – You can slow down smaller mammals with ice, and can now make slightly bigger sized ice spikes, that may now slightly scratch a cats fur. You can make a bigger ice rink than before. You can freeze time for a short amount of time and you can touch a cat to see there past. You can’t move very far when time is frozen

Level 4 – You can make large ice spikes that you can break off and use as a weapon, you can slow down other cats, who lack fire powers and your ice rink is even bigger. You can survive temperatures above -40. You can choose which cats or places you freeze time in and can freely move around a large area. You can see quite far into the future and can contact past spirits by going back in time.

Level 5 – You can make large ice spikes which you can grow in any place you want as long as they start from the ground. You can slow down cats with fire powers as well as cats without. You can give other cats fake or real visions and you can bring other spirits into the future to help you fight. You can change what cats think of their past to make them happier or more troubled by it.

Fire and Nature

Level 1 – Small flames appear around you and you can control how they move but not grow them. You can make plants which are already there grow or wither

Level 2 – You can summon more flame now and you can grow it to twice it’s original size but it will only burn a cats fur, it won’t be able to damage flesh. You can grow plants in places that they weren’t before and you can understand other animals languages but not talk them

Level 3 – Your flames are now much bigger and will leave mild – normal sized burns on a cats flesh. You can make plants wrap around cats legs to slow them down but the vines are quite easy to break. You can call a small swarm of bees to your aid

Level 4 – You can now make flames much bigger and form a whip out of fire and there is a low chance that the flames can seriously burn a cat. You can now talk to all animals and make stronger vines that are harder to break through. You can grow stinging nettles and sticky weed. You can summon a bigger swarm of bees to help you.

Level 5 – Your flames are only slightly bigger than before but you have more control over the flames and can now create a ring of fire around you, your flames will often seriously burn a cat but cats WILL NOT immediately die of your flames. You will only get mild burns if you have brief contact with even the hottest fires. Animals are more likely to help you now if you ask them. You can grow stronger vines, bigger plants and poison ivy. You can call birds to your aid.

Time powers are a bit complicated as you get future visions so when you want to have a vision about what will happen in the next test or what another cats power is then just ask me and I will give you a little hint. But if it is about your character then you can decide what they see. If it about another character then tell the other person and they can give you a tiny clue about what your character might see.
If you want to see another cats past then look at the backstory on the charcter creation page or just ask them

Water –

Level 1 – You can hold small bubble of water in the air and make ripples appear around you. You can only drawing water from puddles, ponds, lakes or rivers

Level 2 – You can make cat sized waves in water and hold larger bubbles of water that you can now throw at cats causing them to splutter

Level 3 – You can now draw water from rain and make weapons out of water

Level 4 – You can draw water from clouds, make larger waves and your water bubbles will now hold their shape unless you want them to collapse

Level 5 – You can draw water from the air around you and suspend a cat in a bubble of water, but they can break free. You can make any thing out of water that you want but it can not be absolutely massive. You can breath under water for a bit longer than most cats and have more stamina while swimming.

Air –

Level 1 – You can float a couple of inches off the ground and make small breezes drift around you

Level 2 – You can float a bit higher now and you can make stronger winds that would slightly slow a cat down

Level 3 – You can float above cats now but only for 1 minute and you can make strong winds act like a shield around you

Level 4 – You can float for 30 seconds longer and can now make even stronger winds that are very hard for a cat to push through

Level 5 – You can now make your wind hot or cold but it can’t be over 100oC or under -20 oC

Healing-

Level 1 – Small scratches heal slightly faster and you notice you are no longer catching common colds

Level 2 – Small scratches barely bother you can heal within a few minutes. You think that some cuts are healing nearly twice as fast!

Level 3 – Normal sized cuts heal within a day and you have begun to be able to heal small cuts on other cats

Level 4 – You barely catch any illness and more serious scratch heal within a couple of days, you can heal many types of injuries on other cats. You seem to be able cope with more blood loss than other cats and you can make a protective shield around you or others

Level 5 – You can heal most injuries or yourself within a day and, if a cat isn’t going to die from their wound, you can heal it. You still catch serious diseases. You notice that if you want to you can make cats feel pain by just lightly touching them

Telekinesis-

Level 1 – Small, light objects like leaves seem to move slightly when you focus on them

Level 2 – You can lift small objects like leaves, small pebbles and sand

Level 3 – You can lift slightly heavier things like heavier stones and you can now throw them short distances

Level 4 – You can now lift much heavier objects, throw them and make a shield out of them for a short amount of time

Level 5 – You can push a cat backwards very forcefully and hold a shield for longer. You can throw things further

Electric –

Level 1 – You get static shocks easily and sometimes little sparks of electricity appear around your paws

Level 2 – You can harmlessly shock another cat but the sparks seem to be getting bigger

Level 3 – Your electricity now hurts when it shocks another cat but only for a few seconds, you can make it appear and disappear on will and it will now surround you like a shield

Level 4 – Your electricity is now pretty painful and may leave you opponent weakened which is a good opportunity for attack. You can make weapons out of it and your shield can now last for slightly longer

Level 5 – You can summon lightning from storms but this takes a lot of energy. You now have pretty good control over you electricity and it is painful to be shocked but it

Poison –

Level 1 – You can spit this horrible tasting liquid, it would give you a bit of a stomach upset if you ate it

Level 2 – You now find that you can breath out a gas that makes cats feel sleepy as well as your foul tasting liquid

Level 3 – Your spit is now a bit acidic and would hurt if it touched another cat. Your gas is a bit stronger and now some cats may actually fall asleep

Level 4 – You have lost your sleepy gas ability but you spit is now much stronger and will leave cats with a burn and you seem to be able to make the poison come from you claws as well. You can spit you poison out a tail length in front of you

Level 5 – Your poison can now leave serious burns and you can lay it on the ground as a trap for other cats. You have got your sleepy gas ability back but cats will very rarely fall asleep from it, it might just make them feel a bit drowsy

Shadows / Invisibility

Level 1 – You can slightly move the shadows and sometimes your body flickers

Level 2 – You can make shadows disappear and make your body slightly fade for a few seconds

Level 3 – You can fill a place with darkness and make you self invisible for a few seconds. The invisibility only works in complete darkness

Level 4 – You can make some solid things out of shadows but they will stand still. You can be invisible in slightly lighter areas but if it gets very bright you can be seen

Level 5 – You can make a decoy version of yourself and move it within your line of sight. You can become invisible in day light but if a light is shined directly at you you can be seen

Ok so they are the power now you may be thinking in your mind I AM HAVING FIRE but that’s not how it works. The god Harnor aka me, will choose your powers in the sign up form you can put down a preference if you like but, that may will be ignored. What I would rather you put down would be if you absolutely hated one power so would be extremely upset if you had it, but please give me a reason. For example my character (other than Harnor ) that I will be playing with is afraid of the dark so won’t want shadow powers. But this could make me think, hang on a minute, what a great plot point that would be! The chatracter would be nervous of his own power !
But please don’t be disappointed with your power, they are all pretty powerful. Also, you won’t get them immediately, you will get them when I say so please don’t sign up just for the magical powers

Levelling up-

Now you are probably like MAPLE HOW DO I GET MY CHARCTER TO SUMMON A SUPER FLAME FIRE RING OF FIREY EPICNESS and the answer is you draw write or roleplay

Everyone starts at level 1 and each level up has a theme that you need to draw write or Roleplay about
You don’t need to level up and you can stop at whatever level you want

Level 1 -2 :
Draw,write or Roleplay about your characters initial thoughts on their power
(Minimum for Drawing is a line art, no colouring required, for writing its 100 words, and for Roleplay it’s 5 posts on the theme)

Level 2-3 :
Show you charcter testing the limits of their power or being reluctant to do so.
(Minimum for Drawing is a coloured picture with no shading, for writing it’s 200 words and for Roleplay it’s 7 posts)

Level 3-4 :
Show your discovering the bad side of their power if they were positive to start with or the good side if they were being negative about it
(Minimum for Drawing is a good attempt at a shaded picture with some attempt at a back ground, for writing its 250 words and for Roleplay its 10 posts)

Level 4-5 :
Show your character mastering their power, coming to terms with their previous feeling on it, how their past effected their use of the power or their relationship with another character in the Roleplay
(Minimum for Drawing is a picture with as good a back ground and shading as you can do, for writing its 300 words or for Roleplay you can do 15 posts , level 5 is buff ok it needs to be challenging to get there )

So that’s the levelling up, I will make a page for putting in your art in. The drawings don’t have to be amazing just please try because it just makes it so much more fun

The World –

Ok so the world the cats used to live in before the tests had no people in and some monsters or monsetrous creatures basically it is earth but like after humans wiped themselves out cats seemed to be the most common creature. Most cats lived alone trying to avoid the monsters and keep safe, they didn’t have much time for fun and it wasn’t a very happy existence.

How they got to The Tests –

It varies from cat to cat, it will be up to you to make up the backstory some cats nearly died and were saved some cats were met by Harnor in normal form and decided to take him up on his offer

The Tests –
They are exactly what their name says they are tests to decide on who will become gods. I can’t tell you much more apart from the fact that cats will not be chosen all at the same time and cats who become gods earlier than others help Harnor test the remaining cats. NOT ALL OF YOU WILL BECOME GODS

Death and Death Points –

Cats can die. Their I said it. You can decide it’s time for your cat to die for the plot to get more interesting and for that I will be forever greatful. But death doesn’t have to be the end, you could be revived or, you could be chosen to be a god or you could just die and never come back so please don’t go testing you luck too much Harnor will catch on.
Death Points are what you get if you break rules, constantly ignoring my questions on whether you can make it to the next test or not. You get five death points and you die, simple as that. But if we run long on characters you will be given a second chancep

THE FORGOTTEN

The forgotten are cats who turned down Harnor’s offer but they were trapped in rock by him as punishment for not following his commands.
They have broken out in the Fourth Wait, and now have strange powers.
They do not want to win the tests, they just want to return home.

Their Powers

Level 1 – The ground quakes around their paws a little sometimes, and they can make small cracks in earth. They can create a glowing orb of pure power.
Level 2 – They can break small rocks in half, and make there body look like a glowing skeleton, but this has now actual bonus to it. They can move their power orb around
Level 3 – They gain a gift as well as level 2 powers. This gift can be nearly any power you can think off and varies from cat to cat.
Level 4 – They can crack bigger rocks in half and throw their power orb, which will hurt a cat or momentarily blind them.
Level 5 – Their gift is slightly stronger, and if they turn into skeleton form, you can not hurt them unless you reach their skeleton form. They can break the ground open with their mind, but they have to quickly close it, otherwise, their powers drain out, and they could get incredibly ill. They can throw the power orb further and it is brighter.

The level up system is exactly the same
