    THE STORY:

In a world where the Pyrrhians and Pantalans live in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon world rather than in Pyrrhia and Pantala, various exploration guilds have been set up across all five main continents due to the appearance of mystery dungeons. One such guild is the Tulip Guild, founded and owned by a Hive-Leaf-Rain tribrid by the name of Leafcutter. Located on the Grass Continent, it’s close to the nearby Treasure Town, resting upon the cliffs just north of the local beach. In the world’s history, nothing much has happened since the falling star was destroyed – of course, up until now

Rumours have been spreading around that the time gears are getting stolen. The flow of time is unbalanced. More mystery dungeons cropping up than usual, and the dragons inside them going mad.

The guild has been tasked along with a few other guilds to help investigate – whether you’re a member of the guild itself, or with them by association with an exploration team, aside from your work, the task of investigating these crimes looms over your head.

Essentially, this mainly follows the plot of PMD2, though we can always make some changes to the plot as we go along.

    THE RULES:
(I’m very sorry if this seems like a lot)
*As of now, there is no real character limit provided you can keep them all active to some degree. But if things get too crowded, it’ll likely be changed to three OCs per BlogClanner.
**Dead OCs (if you decide to kill ’em I guess) do not count.
*Romance and shipping is alright but keep it PG and it isn’t the main focus
*Hate the character, not the rper
*Make sure your characters are balanced for the rp’s sake (and yes I mean both in personality traits and in abilities, especially if they are a hybrid)
*Please don’t do script-style roleplaying. While I understand that everyone has their preferences, it simply is off-putting when compared to everyone else’s posts.
*Reserves for special spots last for up to a week. I’ll try to let you know before the time is up if you haven’t posted but this is not guaranteed
*Don’t double up on powers. Aka no Sky-Nights with firescales and thrice moon-born powers, no flamesilk animi, no IceWing hybrids able to breathe both fire and frostbreath, you get the gist
*Your character is allowed up to four moves, like in the Pokemon games. Similarly, they are allowed up to two types.
**These moves can change throughout the roleplay, but that’s only via the level up system, which is covered in the next section.
*Please don’t use other people’s art without permission for your OCs! I’m really not a fan of art theft and I doubt it would happen here but I’ve seen this more with WoF roleplays than Warriors ones, so I thought I’d mention it just in case

    LEVELING UP:
Since this is a crossover rp, it makes sense to have more elements from Pokemon in it, doesn’t it? Regardless, your character is allowed to have up to four moves and two types at maximum. The characters can learn more moves via leveling up, which can be done in a multitude of ways.

Most characters in the roleplay would preferably start at around levels 5-15, Leafcutter being the notable exception due to xyr status as a guild leader. Characters can level up one level at a time, three levels at a time, or five – the max level being 100, like in the games. Leveling up regularly usually equates to around 3-4 roleplay posts when in a dungeon/battle. Leveling up three levels at a time happens during/after a plot point (such as an expedition for example). Leveling up by five levels is if you decide to do something like art or writing for your character, which because it makes sense I’m going to call it a golden seed. There will be guidelines for this below.

    Moves:
When a character levels up by five levels, you have the chance to have them get rid of an old move and teach them a new one. What I do for this is I randomly select four moves that would usually be the same type as the character or moves that seem like the character would learn, and present the option to you. What you do is up to you, and you can choose not to do so if you please.

I do realize that TMs exist in PMD as well, but that would just make things messier on my end so we’re not including them.

    Golden Seeds:
Look at Starspring trying to be funny

But in all seriousness, this is literally the equivalent of a golden seed in the games. When doing this, I want you to note that you can’t do multiple five level ups in a row as then it’d be very easy to get op and no one likes that in a rp. Therefore, only one of these per user per week (depending on activity, it might be changed to every five days). Depending on what happens in the roleplay, this may or may not change. Anyways, requirements for each one:

    Art:
    Must be fully coloured
Have some level of shading that is visible, lighting is optional
Cannot be traced or a base

    Writing:
Has to have at least 300 words
Has to be your own writing and about your own character
At least it has to be readable

Please post these somewhere I’ll see them (the BlogClan wiki, the fanfiction page, my own wiki, etc)

Anyways, this is about it for the information!
